Doomfist takes no skill to play

Doom is one of my most played Tanks lmao

Dva and Ball are much harder than Doom is.

doom is the hero who needs so much skill its to hard for you to understand.

I think the amount of skill required to play Doom competently is pretty low and a lot of Doom fans can’t see that, but he also has one of the highest skill ceilings in the game and it takes quite a bit to be more than competent at him.

Show us on the punch where Doomfist dolled you.

Remember, it’s Mirrorverse season.

No, it’s only you who sees Doom as low skill floor/ high skill ceiling.

Homie really tried to claim Dva’s harder than Doom lmao. That must be why she has consistent playtime and winrates across all ranks unlike Doom lol

She is. Higher skill ceiling.

But I’m not gonna debate with you again. You’ve already showed me that you’re terrible at the game. The only thing worse than you is your embarrassing takes.

Top 500 buddy lol. Dva is the second easiest tank in the game, surpassed only by Orisa.

Doom has a high skill floor. It’s not nearly as high as doom OTPs make it out to be, though.

His skill floor is probably the second highest for tank (behind ball)

And skill floor is not equivalent to skill. Skill is determined by the ceiling.

That’s probably a more fair assessment than I gave.

I can’t, it’s stuck in the wall :sob:

There are more bad doomfists than there are competent D.Va’s, and I think that alone is pretty telling in regards to Doom’s Skill floor.

He’s easily in the top 5 highest skill heroes.

I find him to be the highest skill floor tank in the game.
I’ve learned to play ball in less time and better than i have doomfist.
Being avarage on dva is easier than being avarage on doomfist as well.

He is the highest skill floor Tank and possibly just the highest skill floor in the game. However, I judge skill by the ceiling and ease of improvement past the initial skill floor. Doom is who I tend to swap to when Dva or Ball isn’t working for me, not the other way around. I consider him to be much easier than both of them.

Even so, Doom is still a Dive hero. I’m calling him easy by DIVE standards. That still leaves him as one of the hardest Tanks.

I personally avoid playing doom, because me playing him is basically the same as just standing in spawn and emoting (except that the enemy gets ult charge).

I feel that doom has insane skill ceiling, when compared to dva for example. There’s only so far a dva can get after mastering the matrix use and positioning,
while doom needs to master all the cooldowns and the tempo of the game along with the ways the abilities can be used for movement with different combos and timings.

(I also get better results on tracer and lucio than doomfist, but even then i fail most of the time)

Doom’s skill ceiling isn’t anywhere near as high as Doom players make it out to be. Doom’s gameplay loop is a cooldown cycle. You can’t really counter him without several swaps, so it’s on him to miss and that’s it. That makes him easier.

The reason Doom is easier than Dva and Ball is because once you get past that initial skill floor, you’re much harder to counter than Dva or Ball and IMPOSSIBLE to completely shut down.

I think Doom is the hardest tank to get value out of, and not really super close.

Correlation between that opinion and him being my worst tank? Yep
