Serious question, is op’s image a bug or is it that you have to actually land a hit with the move now?

So close to making a Spaceballs reference.

It’s a bug that’s been around for ages like longer then when Meteor Strike would heal the enemy team if they are on the outer edge.

Meteor Strike did what


At its edges meteor strike used to heal enemies.

I can only assume this was an issue with its fall off scale- resulting in a negative number, resulting in a heal.

Problem with nerfing Doomfist’s CC is that it was all part of his kit. The skill in playing DF was less in actually getting the Slam+Uppercut kills but more in staying alive between cycling it.

I wouldn’t have a problem with removing the CC if they reimbursed his survivability. But now he’s less mobile, and his uppercut is honestly questionable. What does it actually achieve now? And the SS nerf was the largest nail in the coffin.

Keep complaing about the various bugs buddy, Doomfist is destined to be buggy by design and even then, if I were to list the amount of bugs I’ve found for my main heroes or even some maps I like, there would be a long list too. Hitreg affects even the smallest of things too. Like LĂșcio’s boop. Symmetra’s primary fire has it on occasion. Reinhardt
 just look at Reinhardt. Doomfist was really unfun to play against for i’d say 70%+ of the community, allowing for more counterplay is a good start, i’m sure there’ll be things that get buffed after all of this, making him better, but keeping him fair.

Then maybe play a character that doesn’t have a head hitbox the size of his Oversized fist, that’ll make it much harder for them to hit you. Also, widows allow for counterplay, if you can’t do that, you’re lacking gamesense on a fundamental level.

Doomfist is also an instant death across the map, except instead of headshots, he needs to land 7m long aou stuns, aka no aim.

Imo Doomfist is a character that will never work completely. He will either be too strong (when played well) or too weak. There is no inbetween. It’s the same with Brigitte.

His concept is interesting and cool, but the devs bit more off than they could chew with Doomfist. They will never be able to balance him correctly.

Two things. First, those things I stated apply to EVERY Hero, not just Doomfist. Second, Doomfist alsoallows for counterplay, much more than the “Be a better Widow, stay behind a shield, or outisde of LOS” that Widow does. Slayer refuses to accept that, so therefore I’m going to be as sarcastic to him as I possibly can be, because Of things like this.

which show how very little he actually understands and no matter how much we explain and show him, he believes that using 2+ sets of abilities means that it’s “instantaneous”.

Also, Slayer, aim isn’t hard considering I played Doomfist for many months and then went from Bronze to high plat using Widow, Genji, and Mcree(mostly Widow though). This is because aim is overrated.

Don’t worry, they’ll nerf Mercy again because Doomfist and Brig did too much.

Aw I’m for it, why waste such development time on such a useless hero.

I think they should be focusing on that 3rd rework for symmetra?

P.s nerfing a hero I play doesn’t bother me, I can literally just play another one. I mean i could just play ana And climb but that she no fun, I don’t need to one trick a overtuned hero to be good, can’t say the same for Doomfist players


I actually love playing Sombra against DF. I hack the living crap out of him, and most games, they don’t switch. They’re just hard-locked DF and make their team a 6v5. In the end, I usually get a “F*** Sombra” message and it FUELS ME. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Why couldn’t the shield buff be reverted? How about work with incremental changes? These changes to slam distance are so confusing. By removing Doomfist’s ability to escape after an engagement he turns into a 1 for 1 bot or just a do-nothing hero.

I would have preferred they just deleted him over this, because this is just going to painful trying to make this trashcan actually work in the higher Elos.

Good, Doom is the worst thing that’s happened to this game and yes that includes the months and months of Mercy meta we had previously.

Screw Doom I’m glad they nerfed him this way he’s clearly OP in his current state.
