Think about it, Doomfist counters the meta. In other words, 1 hero counters 6 heroes. In what world is that OK?

Meta should counter meta, 6 heroes should counter 6 heroes. Itā€™s a bad game design when 1 hero counters an entire meta. Didnā€™t Brigitte get a royal hit on the head by the nerf bat for countering a meta?

So a meta that hard counters your character is ok though?

When a team picks 3-4 characters that you counter theres a problem but when a team picks 3-4 characters that counter you it is fine?

3-4 heroes to counter 1 hero, thatā€™s rather busted to be honest. And a meta consists of 6 heroes, and should always counter 1 hero. Thatā€™s just the basics of it, if 1 hero starts busting 6 heroes thereā€™s something off.

Thereā€™s a very obvious difference between an entire team being a composition that counters your hero and pushing you off of it and 1 broken hero doing it. The mental hoops Doomfist mains will jump through to pretend that their obviously busted character is balanced is absolutely pathetic. You just look like a complete moron.

Doom cannot bust orisa unless hes not focusd after grav, he also doesnt counter hanzo, junk, ash which is one of the three dps people usually run with double barrier.

He does, however, counter sigma, zen, ana, bap in most cases, mei, sym, and goes 50/50 with reaper, all of which are almost garunteed picks in the current meta. And unlike reaper he has mobility to get out, like tracer and genji so he can do his job against them and escape, so he doesnt need to be baby sit like reaper in goats.

Therefore he counters the meta

Yes he can bust Orisa, unless Orisa has fortify and halt available along with shield dance and quick reaction time, Doom busts Orisa. Thereā€™s a whole lot that Orisa has to do at the split second just to survive Doom. Slam, wall hit and shotguns and Orisa is if not dead, pretty low.

And for Doom to counter so many heroes is just insane. One hero should not be able to have so much advantage in the game. The game then boils down to one thing; who has the best Doomfist. And thatā€™s terrible game designe, it should never come down to who has the best of one hero, be it Widow, Reaper or Doomfist.
