It is complicated because ain’t nobody going to agree on what’s good and bad. I am Loki pissed because I love Japan and Egypt. They removed them for Clash. And now they are removing Clash. Make a freaking payload map for both at this point. It’s time to stop.

In high ranks brig would sit with her support, and go after to deny flankers.
In mid ranks she sat in an off angle behind her tanks and bash stunned my tank (often me) off cooldown and cause the whole chain CC if i didn’t just outright explode from the tank battle while stunned. She was the biggest detriment to my fun on tank
But i don’t care for this game anymore so they can do whatever.
At my rank, she role played as Reinhardt.
Release brig (and several of her slightly nerfed states) actually won the 1 v 1 against rein more often than not. Even in high ranks she could do it.
I remember watching Flats be flatsergasted losing 1v1s to brigs

Horizon was trash AF, waaaay too defense heavy… but imagine they extend the outside area and make the payload go through there, forcing space battles.

And yet he’s far worse for the game in his tank form than any verison we had before; even with the gigantic punch hitbox he initially had on release.
Nice cap lol DPS Doom was arguably the worst designed character ever. The definition of feast or famine with literal broken mechanics. His tank version is easily better for the game
Stupid question incoming but could they potentially add in a button for a Stance toggle? so he could be played as a brawl tank or dive dps? I just do not know if he even has a button free for console that they could use to make this idea work but he probably doesnt. Just was curious as it could be a way to satisfy players from both sides of the fence.
Something like that would only really work for open queue and even then blizzard isn’t bold enough to do something like that regardless.

This whole mode is buggy rn. Mercy has tons of problems, doom just falls instantly after uppercutting instead of staying in the air a bit like he’s supposed to, his slam is really slow / sluggish.
I guess that’s what they get for trying to copy paste an OW1 patch on to the OW2 engine.
I just need them to tune his punch down a bit. Deleting over half a tank’s health (and one-shotting everyone else) with an unblockable ability that has an enormous hitbox is just overkill. He’s just utterly anti-fun to go up against, especially for support players.
Doomfist is one of the worst designed heroes in gaming history, but he’s here to stay. So I’d like to think that we can find a middle ground that makes him acceptable for those playing him and those playing against him.
He’s not one of the worst designed heroes, he’s one of the worst balanced. The vision the dev team have for the hero is the complete opposite from what basically everyone wants. It’s one of the most anti-playerbase things I’ve seen in gaming.
Doom players have been asking for them to move away from rocket punch being his entire shtick for YEARS. They wanted OHK punch to go. They’ve wanted tank doom to be less empowered punch oriented.
But this dev team literally blocks their ears, going “lalalalala”, and just ignore all feedback.
What made doom fun was always the rollouts and ability comboing, but instead of leaning into that, they made rocket punch the only usable ability and have essentially removed the “ability comboing” identity with the switch to tank, entirely. And the rollout playstyle has been dead and gone.
Oh add on top of them either removing or neutering 99% of the techs tank doom had from the beta. Beta tank doom was nearly perfect and they murdered that hero.
That’s why its the devs job to know that for us. They should know what is good for their game they made right?
