Don't wait until 1 minute left to swap to your main

If you want to practice a hero you’re bad at and lose the match because of it, that’s fine
If you want to play to win, that’s fine
But i’m so sick and tired of this nonsense where someone swaps to their main with 1 minute left and delays us losing by 10 minutes when we easily would’ve won if they swapped right away

Never heard of someone complaining about someone swapping to a hero they do better on. That’s a new one.

lowkey bad advice one minute can be the difference between a win and lose. If you feel like swapping is going to give your team a better chance to win I don’t see why not.

throwing a game and then forcing everyone who you threw it for to sit in the lobby for 5-10 more minutes is pretty rude

If OT is lasting 5 - 10 minutes you guys have to be either in the world’s longest fight somehow or seriously making a pretty big comeback.

5-10 minutes of extra time is rather significant. That’s the length of many entire quickplays. If a player added that much extra time by switching to something they’re better at, then that means winning the game outright was a very real possibility.

Don’t learn new heroes or SnowManMan will get upset? Have one character you’re best at and only play that character? Seems a bit harsh man.

i actually agree

as someone that practices heroes on lower rank accounts i tend to go with an “all or nothing” approach, in my case swapping is smurfing so i just accept that if im not good enough on that hero im going to lose.

so i find it a lil odd when someone will hard lock for instance doomfist, then the entire time they are being countered but when the clock hits 20 second they decide to swap.

why even swap lol, at that point just stay doomfist and lose the round or even the entire match because you already put your team in a massive deficit, unless your a smurf practicing in a lower rank you arnt going to save the game by swapping from your throw pick so just keep practicing and move on.

It is such a waste of time.

Ignore all the random straw man fallacies. Your point was quite clear, they are just being willfully ignorant.

yeah i hate actual gameplay too.

OP has a point though. Too often I’ll see somebody hard lock a hero, but when we’re in the last 20 seconds, they’ll switch and we’ll still lose. Hero swaps need to happen much sooner.
