Dont let that ball change go live

You main Hammond. He’s just a DPS. Not a real Tank. No wonder you’re a high rank Tank player. And what a shock, you use DPS Lucio on the Healers side of things.

No other CC option was as effective at stopping that grapple than Brig’s shield bash was. So why bother bringing them up?

Im misunderstanding nothing. The fact that Hammond players complain, mean their reliance on infi-spin is in jeopardy. And you just said its a nerf. Make up your mind.

That adaptive shield saves him. So, no matter the damage, that broken grappling hook wins. And ganging up on Hammond just further proves how broken that grapple is.

Again, none of them were as effective as Brig’s shield bash. If they were, infi-spin would be a rare occurrence.

You mean feeding his ult charge? That will never be a solution to that grapple. Heck, that wrecking ball hits everyone, so bodyblocking is pointless.

Yes it does. The team has no actual protection if Hog & Hammond are present.

If you’re getting tons of kills with them, you’re just going DPS. You’re gonna say being a damage dealer is protecting the team? By that logic, Genji alone would be a Tank.

How in the world is the grapple being random, resulting in it being wasted, not affect lower level play? Even low level players would be screwed over by that because it would no easy to grapple in & roll out in the way you planned.

Look at the first checkpoint at King’s Row. Usually Hammond players can plan to grapple by aiming upwards at that part the payload goes through, piledrive, then roll out. But if the hook is random, the player can plan that specific usage of the grapple. It’d aim for the wall on the right instead, meaning no piledrive.

He doesnt. Not like Mercy. The heal amounts arent close, and Tanks cant survive off that.

Again you say that, yet there are complaints over it. You’re the dense one. If the change helped infi-spin, then Hammond playere wouldnt be complaining. Their complaints mean the change will stop them from getting cheap wins.

That will exactly screw up their infi-spin usage, because they cant plan their grapples like they used to.

That term just further proves my point. If you use that to describe Hog, then he is not a defender. He does not stay close to the team & defend them. He gets to run & gun and survive for a long time solo thanks to his op healing. He’s a DPS.

He kills his enemies on his own thanks to his move & shoot pattern. If he could never shoot anyone, if the damage came only from piledrive, then non-stop CC & assisting would be the only things he can do. But no, he gets to grapple in, piledrive, shoot targets, shield roll out & repeat. His boosted roll can get kills, that grapple hook basically hands him instant kills on maps that favor him like Illios, and then his ult that’s always used after piledrive. Hog & Hammond are killing machines. Unlike Rein & the rest who focus on defense & only get a couple of kills when the situation is right for them.

Also, that toxic term in OW will always be a joke because Blizzard causes the frustration by favoring DPS & for some reason, take forever to go the FPS direction they(even Jeff) want, which is the only way OW can be fun for everyone again. They’ll never go back to the MOBA/FPS hybrid, the fun, non DPS-biased days that gave OW so much attention in the first place.
