If you stop a character that’s reliant on movement to be effective, they stop moving, and are no longer effective. Therefore, they’ve been countered.

This works on everybody. If you shoot a Mizuki in the head they stop moving and are no longer effective.

How much effort you’ve put in to stop them with that CC is not relevant as it does not change the fact that they’ve been countered one way or another.

So why are Snipers not considered a counter to Dive if you can just shoot people?

If we posit that hard-CC is the counter to mobility, does Ana have an inherently easier time hitting that dart on a Genji or Cassidy

This is a bit of a confusing question.

How good is the Ana, The Genji, or even the Cassidy.

A good Ana will “try” to get Genji to waste deflect, and dash. Tbh in a 1v1 situation I don’t see Ana darting Genji because it might just be better to eliminate him (Assuming Genji Dashed in to swift strike Ana)

There are fewer things that Need to happen for Ana to dart Cassidy- but that doesnt mean that Ana wouldn’t be consistent in sleeping either one of them
