New hero is amazing! But i can bet you anything like all other supports released he will be nerfed. Meanwhile we have 2 Dps who haven’t been touched and when they do are counter balanced. Again i hope they don’t ruin his kit and nerf him. But knowing their track record on New support hero’s just wait.

I would be completely and utterly shocked if they nerfed him. He is genuinely the weakest character they ever released.
Lifeweaver was genuinely so trash when he first came out that he wasn’t even worth entertaining.
Lifegrip always carried him. People are just silly and did not understand the value of it. They still don’t. I would argue that petal still underutilized as well. Ain’t nobody struggle to understand what Wuyang is offering. It’s all relatively straightforward.
Honestly he looks like a Weaver 2.0 to me.
Clunky and gimmicky kit, but not as goofy and silly as ChadWeaver is.
He looks like if he were to get into a duel with just about any character, he’ll fall over instantly.

i agree with you, he seems to fit a Niche comp so fingers cross they leave him alone

They released him weaker it seems this time so they could microbuff him in a few weeks after playtests. Its def a much better scenario then releasing a char soo strong that you have to have an emergency nerf patch. This way to they fine tune their approach in having him play balanced a bit more
Agreed. He has an interesting design, but he’s very weak. Hard to deal consistent damage with, very low survivability, long CDs, low healing resource. I also usually die while trying to cast his ult. I can’t think of any part of his kit that needs nerfs.
There is absolutely nothing to nerve about him. Every aspect of his kit is weak and I hate to say it but there is nothing really that exciting about it either. He’s lowkey just a gimmick with a fancy primary

Yeah but the general Pattern is supports get these and then are dumpster dived. Illari is a example to this, Juno also has started losing the latter as well. Meanwhile Freyja who got released strong, got feedback from the community and still stayed strong, Even the railgun menace still is yet to find a spot of being somewhat Balance. Every time a new support hero comes out the Balance them to the latter of being ruined. (also LW was done last April it took them near 1.5 years to make him playable and there was even 2 nerf stages in that.)

This is true but I see even few changes making him potentially too strong. If they buff width of wave and a few others I can see something obnoxious like wave + speed ring + torpedo engages or something.
Lifeweaver’s Needler is so strong to be honest. The only problem is how is your team supposed to get any healing? 
LW needle is absurd he’s just a little chunky so you lose a lot of dmg trades
