Does Overwatch Need Saving?

Because the content we get is a joke and half-baked. Everything costs triple what it should reasonably cost and satisfy new fans and old fans alike. Because the game itself is even MORE of an exercise in frustration than OW1 was. Matchmaking is still a burning trash fire. Comp … lol. We still don’t have half the systems that were in OW1 and who knows if they’ll ever come back. The “upgraded” engine runs worse than the original at least in terms of the whole, you know, shooter aspect.

I don’t know, is that enough for ya? What it is doing is making Blizzard a ton of money from morons who have no impulse control. Par for the course in AAA gaming these days.

Oh. He’s back. Must’ve finally gotten through all that bountiful season 6 content that saved the game.

I make no claims either way, but there has been abundant evidence in line with this claim

actually, almost all of what was said in the most recent statement was opinion stated as if it were fact, when it is not fact

I personally find it odd that a certain few are claiming better queue times while a huge number of folks are claiming much longer times, as well as noting that match quality has gotten much worse

this is not an objective truth, actually, this is a subjective valuation

I have still the same experience as a player than I did in S1 to S3. No idea where the “bleeding players” are.

How? No matter the time of day my QP games are always under 5 mins.

It’s called churn. You’re welcome.

The forced esports scene of OWL is dead. Top streamers show vocal disappointment. Matchmaking in QP has been broken for months. Blizzard ignores player base on being negative towards Push and Flashpoint. Tank has been the worst role to play in years. Steam reviews are a total bomb. Even Stevie Wonder can see this game is not in a good state.

Probably the biggest insult is the paid for PVE offered far less replayability than the free Archives events we used to get.

There is no reason for Blizzard to do anything differntly. They are following how to scam people …

Just look up the YouTube video (cant link it) by Mrwhosetheboss titled How mobile games are designed to SCAM you.

I am afraid i dont understand the “how” question, given that we have seen many many many reports of long queue times on these forums, as well as on other internet communication forums, while only a certain few seem to report short queue times

Thanks, no. I already know how it works.

You asked does Overwatch need saving and it sure as hell does. Not from profits, obviously, but it needs saving to be a game that’s remotely worth talking about.

Don’t know what game they are playing, or that I get special favor, but I have never had a queue time over 5 mins, not matter the time of day I play.

to be clear, the comments I am referring to have been about the pay to win game being called OW2

But profits are all that matters to Blizzard. So to them there is no reason to change as there is not reason OW needs to be saved.

What aren’t you following here? No one’s debating that. I’ve said the same thing about 30 times.

Nobody is playing OW lol. Game has been dead for years, they permanently killed it when they decided to lie and gaslight for 4+ years just to sell $20+ skins.

If nobody is playing I think the fast under 5 mins queue times tell a different story.

5 minutes is a long time when every other pvp game is under 30 seconds.

What other PvP game?

If you decide to throw any semblance of a matchmaking system into the garbage then yeah, you’ll get quick queues. Last time I checked, we had queues faster than these back in 2019 before the content drought and the game was actually enjoyable.

Literally all of the most played ones that tend to matter more than a game that was chopped up and butchered.

And what does it matter if people still play and eat up the Blizzard garbage like its a buffet.
