37-year olds don’t look like grandmas. You can be 37 and not look any different to what you did at 20.

If you take care of yourself, you’ll look it.

Because of “artstyle” the facial features of the characters, especially the women, betray about 10-15 years on average.

On the flipside, I really liked that (by now) ancient holiday comic where Morrison looked like they just unearthed him from a 500 year old tomb.

Does anyone here read the lore? She basically gave herself anti aging with the Valkyrie suit, its possible she even made herself immortal with her patented nano technology and of course the ability to completely negate death itself.

Yes she ages even though people have created theories of her begin immortal.

By no means would I consider Sigma, Rein, or Torb to be all that young. Sigma is wrinklier than my brain will ever be, Rein has an eye scar which instantly makes him 1000 years old (just joking), and Torb is Torb.

Yes Mercy does age. She was a young teenager back in the days of starting Overwatch and was not part of the organization until her late twenties. For example, the letter Torbjorn writes to his wife after the botched “White Dome” operation where he mentions Mercy is at a time when she is quickly working her way up medical school and is considered a prodigy in the medical field. She joins Overwatch in its later years mostly through the King’s Row Uprising to the point of its collapse.

Mercy is 37 in Overwatch’s “current” time.

Note this information is confirmed by former lead writer Michael Chu in several posts on the older forums. Unfortunately I do not have those posts archived yet. On a side note, Mei and Tracer also both age naturally. Mei is technically 31, but in a sense she is in a sense 22 of age after her 9-year cryogenic hibernation.

I thought it was the other way around - Mei has the body of a 31-year-old but is chronologically 40.

Chu: Mei’s age on the website (31) is her apparent/biological age, not chronological. It does not include the amount of time she spent in cryostasis

Really, just look at what is already possible with today’s cosmetic procedures and Overwatch is set 50-ish years away.

Mercy is at the top of medical field and no doubt has countless connections to the best of the best. And she clearly has the will to maintain her appearance.

That, and good skincare and health go a long way. A not even 40 year old can easily still pass for 20s.
