Does anyone actually like Mystery Deathmatch?

It’s not even worth playing once for a lootbox, it’s that bad. I only play MH as well so, that should add some context to just how bad it is.

Yeah pretty fun not having the same 5 heroes every game.

You aren’t forced at all. Playing a countered hero into multiples of the same or different counters can help you learn a lot about how to play around those counters. At least you have the choice of switching.

Only way to switch in Mystery FFA is to intentionally feed since you can’t suicide for a different hero.

I’m still playing it quite a bit despite hating it, however, if what you were saying was remotely true: why does everyone in the lobby always talk about how bad it is and how much better normal FFA is?

You’re exaggerating if you think more than a handful of people actually enjoy it.

In mystery i never angry at pick,
and when there is 4 doomfist players running around… someone need to pick counter to it, or this thing gona take all 4 top spots. NON OF MY WATCH!

Disable Zarya and Mercy and the mode would fine. Or allow Zarya to bubble herself twice. Mercy to boost/heal herself.

Not really. Have you ever tried to play Sombra into 4 DF? You can’t counter anything because anytime you’re close to killing one, you get jumped by 2 more.

You don’t have to do anything. You don’t have to swap. Or you can. The choice is there. Mystery removed that and turns an already fairly unbalanced game mode into something just plain not fun overall.

Mystery FFA is the worst part of FFA (the horrible matchups and easy kill stealing by certain heroes) and the worst part of Mystery Heroes (Getting a Mercy/Zary/Widow when everyone else is D.va)

I managed to win it once and did not feel the need to ever play it again.

Im not plaing sombra, you creazy? Anything below 250 hp is not working agains 4 slams, reaper or hog, thats what i do when i see those monsters in my games.
If i dont, then i gona see him jump around and killing me 3 times, because game dont get that you should not spawn next to place you die, or in the same spot for number of times.

And i think its more balanced when people stop just going ther mains to rekt everyone.

I really like FFA Deathmatch and Team DM but Mystery DM is absolutely horrible.

Mystery Heroes mode is fine but does not belong in deathmatch.
I think they should remove Mystery DM or make it appear much less often.

I think Mystery modes has overstayed their welcome. Mystery heroes hasn’t been on rotation in months now. Its always part of the weekly, therefore taking up a slot for another mode that is more fun for the moment.

I think mystery heroes(And its DM counterpart) are ok and sometimes even fun modes, but when(mostly only Regular MH) is part of the weekly modes all the time, it gets stale. And really quickly.

There is such a thing as “Too much of a good thing” which applies here very much. Sure, may not apply to people who don’t play too often but for us that do(Me in particular), it is no longer as enjoyable cause that mode is my best chance to get the lootboxes each week.

And i find it almost impossible to enjoy arcade when I have the unseen stress of not having gotten the lootboxes. I can only really relax and enjoy arcade once those boxes are acquired and it sucks having to play MH almost all the time unless TDM or Chateau, Petra DM is on.

Played it so much that its no longer fun. The aspect of that mode is no longer fun for me. The same applies to M:DM.

I love the game mode, it’s fun and the players are super chill

I hate it. Blizzard, just because two different modes are popular that doesn’t mean the result of combining them will be good, which it isn’t. It completely screws over the people who just want regular old FFA and probably just caters to the mystery heroes crowd. It’s not fair. First they make us play on only one map for a whole week and now they ruin FFA with this garbage. Please admit your mistake and delete it already, nobody will fault you.

nope. but its the same thing as map bans, they don’t want their modes to be ignored, so they force them into rotation
