Does Ana really need a buff?

Is Ana bad? Saw 3 tanks.Went ana, was told to go moira

I normally play hitscan dps or tracer… But we had 3 tanks the other day, needed a healer, so I went ana…Then my teamates requested I go Moira instead. I was shooting 75-80% with Ana so was confused. I went Moira anyway. It was better I put out about 1.5xs the healing I guess I’m confused bc I though triple tank ment ana. When should she be played now?

Ana is just bad (IMO)

When I play Ana (65-70% scoped and unscoped accuracy), I always get outhealed by Mercy, Moira and Brigitte, and outdamaged Moira and Brigitte. These three heroes are easier to play and are more rewarding. The only real utility Ana has is sleep dart and biotic grenade, and even then they’re on long cooldowns. Maybe I’m just bad, but I feel like there is no real reason to play her over those other heroes, other than that she has burst healing and I have more fun with her. I’d be happy to hear your…

Is Ana really that bad..?

I made a post the other day that mentioned that I’m a newer player; that statement is obviously still true, hence why I’m asking this question. Ana became one of my favorite heroes from the moment I picked her up, and she’s now my second most-played. Yet, I see people very regularly mentioning her being a pretty bad healer when compared to others like Mercy. To which I wonder, is Ana really all that bad as people say she is? Would you consider Ana to be a bad character?

I think she’s super fun to play, but I also feel like her overall healing is really low considering that it’s really easy to block with shields and also requires aim. I feel like I can easily heal more with Moira or Mercy while being a lot harder to kill and it makes me wonder why I would even play her? Even her ultimate feels kind of gimmicky and a lot of times it doesn’t synergize with anyone on my team …

Ana is meta and still bad..might be time to take another look

The meta is here that ana should thrive in at least as a sidekick to moira. Lots of tanks, aoe heals(the nade really amps this healing up), and heavy sustained healing that is hard to cut through without antiheal. The fact that she doesn’t not work in this meta where she should thrive proves there are some severe weaknesses in her kit. The reason ana was hit so hard with the nerf hammer and why people fear her being viable is bc she enabled the same type of composition Moira is enabling right …

Why can’t Ana regen her hp?

She’s too old, her regeneration glands are starting to wither.

This is what people wanted. Moria was the beginning and now Bridgette. Everyone wants those medals but you can’t get them being a healer. It’s Blizzard’s CoD now. This is the future. Every hero is a DPS and some are better at it than others. Now, when someone says, “we had no heals” the healer will proudly say, “I have gold elims so I had to carry our bad DPS”

I’ve seen this question being asked 3 times today. Just today. In 8 hours.

There’s hardly anyone that thinks she is in a good or an okay spot right now.
