Pretty much my take to be honest. I was fine with the first one, but I like the revised one better. I’m just saying making “controversies” out of things like that was a preview of what the Overwatch audience is like. For example, same thing happened with the latest Mercy “Lizard” skin, although for different reasons.

I never thought that controversy would be relevant 4 years after launch. I hope we remember it until the end of Overwatch.

As is people making a fuss about Mercy’s Dragoon skin looking like a Lizard. I’m just saying there is a pattern and it’s not surprising.

Yeah I still don’t understand the Dragoon controversy. Even if it does look like a Lizard it’s still unique.
I think part of it is that it came at a time that people were specifically getting annoyed at pointless sexualization in games. You were seeing outcry at stuff like really revealing armor, etc., in games where it made no sense whatsoever. People consider it pandering and it’s out of tone for most of the games it’s in, and there were starting to grumble about it.
Oh lawd, I feel we are predicting the future. Hello people of 2021, how are you enjoying actual content for once? Focus on that instead of Widow’s derriere.
