Do you enjoy hard counters?

I’ve seen plenty of D.va players outplay Sym/Zarya. Of course that is just my personal experience though, I don’t know what the data actually suggests, maybe she does get countered by them too harshly in most levels of play, and I’ve just been lucky to get all the cracked D.va mains in my games.

I dont think the concept of “hard counter” exist really anymore. In the past it was basically 1 hero not even allowing you to play yours so really it was Sombra vs DF for example : 1 Right click and you can’t play for 5 sec.

Here we are with no hard counters really yep.

Sym/Zarya cant really keep a Dva out of diving the backline. Also Dva eats Grav. Its not a hard counter mate.

You could argue Sym vs Pharah, sure but then again, Pharah has to ultra focus the Sym to not allow her to play and her team has to be 100% oblivious to the Pharah. Even that is kind of a “hard-ish” counter.

Because she does?

Baptiste can’t save his team with Immortality Field from a well placed Earthshatter or Graviton.
Mercy literally turns herself into a lamppost with wings while she Rezzes.

Kiriko throws Protection Suzu from a distance and the allies affected are cleansed, untargetable and healed. There’s no downside to Protection Suzu.

If the kiriko is good that isn’t rare. when kiriko knows rein has shatter they can easily play highground and save suzu. Apart from that yeah, kiriko doesn’t at all ‘counter’ everybody.

You mean Lifeweaver?

Queen can at least function in a brawl comp with decent backup. Lifeweaver is just Sombra food and Widow bait.

As for real hard counters I see Pharah vs Brigitte as one of the harshest. With others it can be more strong cooldown oriented, but not always favored. Other times it’s more map dependant, then there’s the unconventional counters and other hero picks that counter balance yours out.

Hop into TD in arcade.

That’s what we’d be playing.

I dont like made counter like kiriko to ana i prefer natural counters like pharah to genji

Countering isn’t the same as a hardcounter. Antinade was a hardcounter because it shut down heroes like roadhog from being able to function. Suzu is counter a hard counter. Suzu counters abilties, but doesn’t oppress any character from being playable.

pretty sure that being able to switch mid game and counter enemy comp is what makes overwatch … overwatch …

just go and play literally any other competitive game if you dont like it imo

Okay what game can i play lucio ana genji and rein in one

not sure what you mean there

Junker Queen and Sombra comes to mind, these two’s ults gets completely erased with Protection Suzu - a normal cooldown.

Is their a game with all of this in one game

things being able to get played in any given situation sounds so boring,

how can you fix Junkrat vs Pharah matchup?

Heroes that work better in certain comps/maps? Sure.

Heroes who have abilities that nullify others from doing things? No.

Meh

My personal dislike is antinade. It effectivey disables a core part of a whole category for 3-4s.

Anyway, I find it fun when people switch, but I think it should be because they want to. No hero should effect the game in such a way that playing certain heroes won’t work no matter what.

again . not 100% what you mean there man sry

the same characters ? no ?

Orisa’s entire kit curb-stomp countering Doomfist into the ground go brr

I don’t understand how it’s boring when everyone is viable in any situation.

because devs would have to remove diversity and uniqueness

Not really. Unless you try to face tank a Tank that is literally build to face tank everything.

Just jump over and Dive. Because you know, DF is a Dive tank, not a front face tank
