Sort of relevant to this topic but I’ve been saying today that Zarya’s right click should be a straight shot rather than a cannon. I say even make it a fast moving projectile so she fills that ‘sniper tank’ niche.

Allow it to eat around 10-20 of her charge so it has a trade off but does excellent direct damage.

At the moment, Zarya is the only tank with any real ranged defensive ability. Everyone else just has some sort of cleave and melee-range peel. Personally, I hope the future tanks move away from the current “range-lacking” setup current tanks have.
Personally, I would rather not take more speed away from Lucio. When he is speeding his allies up, it should feel impactful.
Brigitte… honestly, I wish they pushed her in the direction of her armor. Like Lucio brings speed, she should bring preemptive and tough health to her allies - not just be another aoe heal monster. (Torb’s ult does extra damage to armor – continue that trend with other hero fire attacks so there’s a counter)
Right! When it comes to Reinhardt, he really does feel week waddling to the point, trying to block damage.
I think he is at his strongest when he is in a brawl and his kit should be pushed in that direction.
- Charge can be canceled into a barrier. This would make his charge feel as adaptable as his barrier (his whole dueling kit). He could use it to quickly get between allies and an enemy, as a feint to quickly claim space or to get in a target’s face and combo into firestrike+hammer attacks rather than a pin.
- Firestrike hitting the ground turns it into a wave of weaker flames. Think of it like kicking dirt in an enemy’s eye. He could quickly hit the ground next to him and burn Tracer/etc or toss it at range to do some reliable cleave.
- Personally, I didn’t like Rein’s anti-boop buff… but if they go full brawl with him, they could lean further into his tankiness and make him more resilient to body shots. He doesn’t need to be a ‘final boss’ but I guess similar to how WB can dive in and get out with HP to spare, Rein should be able to get in their faces long enough to force the enemies off and make space for his team rather than living Orisa’s niche of constantly plopping a barrier up every 7 feet until the enemies are dead.
