These are the picks from the short of them. Also Micheal Chu answered some questions about them.

Here’s another picture from the short.

This video displays their mechs on the new busan map in ptr. You really should look at them in game though. You will catch a lot of details about them on a closer inspection.

And then if you go between today and August 22 of Michael chus Twitter he talk about them some. Things like the pilots actual names, thier mechs names. Fun little facts. Little bit of backstory. His Twitter is @westofhouse

Also I’ll list the wikis for you.

They didn’t give us a lot of lore on them yet but they did give us a lot to be suggested or implied.

A neat theory is that casino is tied to maximilien in some way. His mech name is French and when googled shows it’s tied to a royal family in Monaco. he’s a gambler, and a famous F1 racer. Maximilien runs a casino Monaco. They both hold very common gambling interest and formula 1 is high end. That a pretty big coincidence. He might be a important part of the story that connects overwatch and talon to meka :slight_smile:

Yes. She was on the same Esports team as D.va originally. They both became pilots from the M.E.K.A program. They have rivalry against eachother but are still close. Michael Chu described her as tough and protective. :slightly_smiling_face: she Takes on the shield tank role of the group.

So if they decide to release her, they might include some sprays like they did with mercy and Moira.

This would be good, but I have the feeling that Dva mains would be salty, you know? There’s only one and only meka pilot in the game, no need for another ult bomb, they were salty towards Hammond because he has similar mvp poses.

I mean I am a D.va main, it would be a problem if they made her a copy of D.va but if they design her and her kit to be completely into own thing then it’s actually good for d.va.

It wouldn’t replace her and actually builds on to her character. Would junkrat be as cool without roadhog? No. This provides opportunities to bring more d.va lore in, build her personality and give her organization awareness as a import part to the world building. I’m really excited about it because I know blizzard wouldn’t make her a character if she didn’t have anything unique to offer :slight_smile:

I’d eventually want more Mekas.

But my issue is there are many countries without representatives, and OW double-dipped quite a lot already (tbh they shouldn’t have double-dipped at all after the Hanzo/Genji thing since they were 1 character that was split into 2). So maybe a few years from now, sure, bring out another MEKA star using a different functioning mech. But for now… How about we get Canadian, Italian, Greek, Caribbean, etc. Heroes first?

I would also like a black woman Hero. Yes we have very diverse representation (none of that “lol 1 black guy and a buncha white dudes” nonsense like TF2), but… No black woman yet? The best we have is a side-character named Efi - and she’s brilliant. But as far as in-game usage goes, no black ladies. 20+ other types of people, some sentient robots, and even 2 animals, but no black woman.
