Director’s Take: Balance Updates for Season Five

It seems to me that players below the rank of Diamond/Masters are struggling to adapt to playing against a skilled Widowmaker. Instead of employing tactics like utilizing cover, flanking, or coordinating dives, they tend to panic and run aimlessly in open fields. It appears that these lower-ranked players are calling for nerfs as a result. Admittedly, Widowmaker did dominate on a couple of maps in higher ranks, but considering it’s not a prevalent issue on every map, I believe it’s acceptable.

That’s literally the group that complains the hardest. I’m G2 for DPS and if there is a Widow on the enemy side, I just switch to Sombra and pop her in the head when she’s scoped. To me I could care less about the Widow nerfs but the Hanzo ones are the ones I was more interested in.
