If you had the honor of being an OW dev for a single day what would you do?
The boss tells you, you can only make or recreate a single ability for your favorite hero. That is the only limitations and assigbment for you.
So what’ll be?
I’d bring back Bastion’s Configuration: Tank ultimate. That change alone would actually make me play the hero again. I do not care about the balance ramifications, I just want my favorite character to be fun again.

I can’t touch my favourite hero without causing a riot.
But i would instead give brigitte a 0.001 second stun on her shieldbash and whipshot.
It could cancel dive movement from dva and winston. It would be able to disrupt ults like moira’s and sigma’s. Not to mention stop sombra from tping out. But it wouldn’t disrupt the game flow more than that.
It would only cancel abilities.

I’d definitely bring back Torb’s armor pack throwables. I miss spamming armor packs.

I’d give Kiriko 0.7 secs of suzu invulnerability, but im pretty sure that would just cause such a huge uproar, that Samito would even call for another crusade and there’d be more bloodshed. Instead, I’d give Kiriko the ability to double jump, because apparently she missed that class when she was training with Genji and Hanzo. Probably because she wasnt even born yet.
I will spent entire 24 hours to fix Workshop problems and bring new features.
If I have to play by the rules you set and only adjust my favorite hero by a single ability?
Get Rez out of here, I hate it and have wanted it nuked forever.
I’d probably do something relatively simple, like a low-ish cooldown single target HoT (think like Lucio un-amped self heal for 3 seconds), maybe you could go with a small damaging ability that builds a meter for amped healing, a simple and clean burst heal, some damage reduction, but generally something smaller and more subtle than Rez but still useful enough that Mercy could more reliably contribute to fight wins when using the ability well without going full Glock out eff the team Bogur style. MirrorWatch really showcased how little if any fun Rez contributes for me the Mercy player, and I really just want it gone now.

I’d change Moira’s damage beam to be laserline straight with a small hitbox. Then I’d change it’s damage to start at 50 but ramp up to 115 by healing, though only half as much for self healing. It would only self heal on a headshot, as well.
I would then make a huge tub of popcorn and watch the ensuing chaos.

i would return tracer to where she was FEARED by players like in the days of ow1 tracer players would actually get some praise for making a move the opponent did not expect

Make Reaper something to be feared again. Even adding a vertical movement on wrath, that tp right now is so useles.
