My idea was also a mech based hero, but the mech itself is possessed by a kind God AI Omnic, named Mayon (a volcano in the Philippines) that can create shields. However, the closest technology it could access (as it was trapped underwater) was a WWII era submarine that it made into a broken, bulky figure. Because of the primitive technology, the shields would come out like glass, sharp. Tala is a historical technology specialist at a museum and discovers Mayon on a retrieval mission. Mayon, thankful for her rescue, became a helper at the museum, however Talon picked up it was a God Level AI and went to retrieve it. Tala figured out how to pilot Mayon’s WWII era guns and used them to protect them both.
My concept is that together they’re a shield tank, with about 3 slices of shield smaller than Orisa’s, worth 300 HP but when they shatter, it scatters shards of the shield on the ground for a few seconds, which can do initial damage plus AoE damage. Shield Cage would have Mayon create a small cube shield around them and would either protect about one other teammate for a couple seconds or trap an enemy. Unlike most shields, neither the enemy or the allies could walk through.
After Mayon takes enough damage, rather than be destroyed like Dva, would be Disabled and would have to make repairs for about 10 seconds, which cant be sped up by healing and if Tala is killed, Mayon will break apart and reform in spawn.
The Ultimate would be “a thousand cuts” which would make a ring of shield shards and if an enemy is beneath them, they take damage.
