Deranker communities and insults: Thx

Last game was hell, they were openly exchanging links for deranker communities and were making fun of us.

I know, I suck, but do we really deserve this Jeff Kaplan? Really? Why

it’s sad that you’ll get a harsher penalty for naming and shaming players than the derankers ever will

Derankers are a result of bad match making no stats and no punishments

Blizzard opened the Pandora’s Box when they entered closed profiles and the LFG into the game. Going down to bronze is now faster than pumping a new account.

This. Right here.

But it’s a result of blaming players rather than fixing the ladder.

Overwatch is a social experiment on how to create the most toxic community with the most adverse ramifications for all players by mimic capitalism, feudalism:

  1. Punish the team instead of the leaver: Military Practise to exert power over a group of people. modern management practise in every company I have taught so far.
  2. Hide information from player-base: Basically Politics and Feudal systems. How does the ELO / MMR work?
  3. Create a sense of change, but do not change: corporate creed and greed:, disparity between rich and poor: Placement-matches without placement, cementing the status quo for everybody at the top:
  4. Individualism as can be seen in employment or unemployment respectively, blame the victim not the culprit: Git Gud, play dps, do not care about the team., he did, but you did not.

I want to stop here because I can smell the trolls coming: If you want to read on how this works, study Herbert Marcuse, Karl Marx, Ulrich Beck, Adorno and mainly all the works of the Chicago School.

Forum Sikudani!

Are you any good at Wrecking Ball? A friend and I could use someone on our three-man who is

while i don’t disagree with your full post, thinking the overwatch community is one of the most toxic is pretty funny, you must not play a lot of other competitive games.

I think it is. That is not to say it is the most toxic, because Blizzard has the HoTS chat room where constant unmoderated racism and misogyny goes without check. And there’s Fortnite’s no longer official forums.

But the irony for Blizzard’s Overwatch is supposedly they are against toxicity. Yet every single tool implemented to reduce it, actually increases it, from no scoreboard, to a player based reporting system (asked for by players) which is more abused than used correctly.

They may be honest mistakes, but one fundamental trend of all the tools implemented is they blame players for the problem, pit players versus players, rather than address the core. 2-2-2 Role lock is yet another example of that. The fundamental problem is character imbalance, from gameplay to fun. That’s why people play tanks and support less, not any other reason. Yet we’re going to blame players for picking too many DPS, rather than consider Blizzard has made DPS in general more fun to play, and gave them the greatest number of characters to select from.

That’s a point of view constant in every Blizzard tool meant to reduce toxicity. And with players blaming players, it should be no surprise the reverse occurs instead.

This, and the fact that you can drop out of any skill tier now which makes it way easier for derankers to hide.

Back in the day if you were diamond or lower, you didn’t drop from that skill tier regardless of current SR.

Meaning if you were for example diamond and you deranked to bronze, you would still have the diamond badge on your portrait so everyone in the match could see how far you dropped.

Oh yeah, don’t get me wrong, i think these devs do a terrible job with how they handle ranked, reports, and private profiles. With that being said, I also doubt you play ranked league of legends, rainbow six, counterstrike, rocket league, dota, e.t.c etc. and so on, if you think this community is that toxic. Imagine the rein on your team constantly charging in to feed the enemy constantly because he didn’t get healed once. Or a healer jumping off the map all the time after the first round because they got no help with the doom fist focusing them. That is how most other communities will act when you make the littlest mistakes in their ranked games, lol. not to mention the constant insults towards the first person who blows a goal/ ultimate or something. You guys really have no idea what an actual toxic community is like.

Okay they got banned now what?
Switches to other account tee hee

Well, one of these accounts was Diamond Border, tee hee on them. But, I doubt, they will be banned, because I have been suspended now till 12 August without warning. Guess why? Exactly, chat abuse. Blizzard is a joke, a big joke. They all reported me, both six stacks and now I am suspended? Here, you can have your game back.

No its literally the most toxic. I’ve played every single online game in existence, I would know.

due to them hiding all information relative to the game
to not scare away casual gamers

for the love of god

blizzard put the real information on the game and counters in a drop down menu of the blizzard app launcher lol

like who’s gonna read that ?
there gonna hit the big blue play button
