Both the daily “A classy flex” and weekly “Flex your power”.
Those are in the game only to boost the Tank queues, more than 95% of the “aLl rOlEs” matches I have I get, you guess it, Tank.
I dont mind playing tank, I do mind picking fricking “all roles” only to get tank almost every single time.
And before anyone says: “aH yOu jUsT lOsT eVeRy tImE yOu gEt tAnK”, I have 53% win rate with Mauga, 57% win rate with Winston., 56% win rate with Sigma.
Im serious, there are 4-5 days in a row that I pick “all roles”, with any luck, I play 1 non-tank role in those matches.
I simply don’t do them. If it means I’m down a challenge for the day oh well. That being said, with mystery heroes role queue in the game I just complete my flex challenges there if I need the XP
How very perceptive. I don’t see why they would remove one of the few extrinsic incentives to play tank though
I wish I could adopt your attitude. I have some sort of defect where I MUST complete the Battle Pass as fast as humanly possible so that I do not need to worry about it anymore. It has been fine this season because of the My Hero skins, but once that luster wears off… It is going to be awful playing DPS or support. Yucky.
Me personally, I have too much bs irl to deal with, and would never consider playing a game that isnt fun and is more like a job. Imo, just don’t worry about the daily challenges, they are so poorly implemented anyway…
This is exactly why in Quickplay queue times are so low. This is a very good thing. Removing these challenges would be one of the most detrimental things they could do for this game.
I’d honestly queue for tank way more often if they gave a handful of gold coins for it instead of useless battlepass exp. I’d do it for 10 coins a game. The battlepass is already extremely easy to finish on it’s own without every single reward in the game for everything being the exp.
Then they sell the 20 skippable tiers, for what? I can finish the BP on 2 different accounts and not even play every day.
I’m tired of “rewards” being so lame. After the battlepass is over there’s really nothing to play towards. At least in ow1 you could continue to earn loot boxes/currency. I just finish it asap then put the game down and play something else afterwards.
Two different accounts where you skip days and do not do challenges? Approximately how many hours does that take you a season? Just curious because I am thinking about about doing this myself.
Honestly! I have no idea what so ever to even ballpark. My days blur together so badly, and some days I play longer than others. Then time periods where I just don’t play at all and am playing other games instead.
Though tbf, I never look at the challenges but they’re completed anyways just through playing. I took a look earlier just to see what they even were after reading this and daily/weekly ones are already checked off.
Ehhhhh, probably not. Maybe a couple games here and there, but motivation for it would be pretty bottom of the barrel. 10 is already pretty cheap imo since everything is 1000+ with them and you’d need 100 games to fully outright get something for free. 3 isn’t worth stressing over as frequently to me. I’d maybe do 7? 5 would be borderline too low maybe
I mean you get like 8 sets of challenges in daileys, and only need to do three. Anything else is just bragging rights and don’t give you anything for completing.
It only takes me like 1 or 2 games to max out those for the evening.
Support players do not deserve thanks. They are only babysitting us so that we can have a good time. Just change it with a challenge to die 3 seconds after getting healed to full. That’s more like it!
