Delete all riskless characters

Hanzo NO risk.
Road Hog NO risk.
Junkrat NO risk
Widow Maker NO risk.
Orisa No risk.

It’s impossible to have a match now without these characters being major players. Too many one shot kills, too many high damaging characters that have 0 risk.

No other character can get away with so much damage without risking it all. These characters can control a game and can do so freely. They can sit back and just do ridiculous damage or just stand in front of a team and eat it all.

Either delete them or turn the game off and give us back OW1 until you balance this game to fit the 5v5 BS that you shoved down everyones throats.

Come on now. Hog gets wrecked by CC, anti, and damage boost.
And as for Junkrat the guy gets messed up by ranged hitscan meta which makes most maps playing as him a chore trying to reach the enemy. If anything I feel like I have to play junk as a suicidal maniac because Mercys are in every game hard pocketing some broken dps hero. Plenty of risk there. Are you talking about random Junk spam perchance? Because that’s easy to avoid by stepping out of the way.

The ranged hitscan meta are the one shots characters I listed.

Hanzo no risk? What? How often do you guys even see hanzo in your games? Majority of the time you will either encounter a really good hanzo player that actually knows how to aim or you will see a useless hanzo player unable to land any kills or only spam into chokes praying to get kills on unaware targets. Hanzo’s risk is being big and bulky and the fact he slows down before he fires his shots. This makes him easy to hit and easy to kill. You know what has no risk? Sojourn, the only hero in the game able to spam one shots with a pocket mercy without a single movement penalty. Heck even widow has no risk now that all the flankers in the game got nerfed on top of her 200hp. Hog and orisa yes are over tuned, junkrat got the wrong buffs and now he’s a menace but hanzo? Come on, you know thats simply not true lol.

Forgetting Sojourn? Soldier? Ashe? It’s not just Widow who is overtuned due to her one-shot in the new 5v5 environment. Widow and Soldier were already OP in OW1 before the shift to OW2.

Junk and other dps heroes take a lot more risk to play than the hitscan ones I just listed for you.

No way you listed Hanzo, Hog, Junkrat and Orisa as long range hitscan heroes lmao

Sojurn is a known problem that is being talked about enough. Soldier can’t one shot and neither can Ashe. And the damage they are able to do comes at a risk.

I’m talking about being overtuned and without risk, not one shots. A Mercy pocketed Soldier or Ashe are only at risk when up against snipers or another Mercy pocketed hitscan/Sojourn. Nice try tho, trying to pretend any of these heroes have increased risk compared to heroes like Junkrat who get farmed by them. Pocketed Soldier has been a known problem long before Sojourn came into the scene. And he will likely take over the game again once Sojourn and Widow get nerfed.

I swear you guys forget previous patch states way too quickly. Always pretending the current meta heroes are OP yet are completely oblivious to how unbalanced the rest of the roster is until they get the meta spotlight. It’s so tiring.

MERCY pocketed anyone is good. Soldier and Ashe can not one shot and can not do significant damage without risk. The ones I listed are good without pocket mercy. Pocket mercy just makes them better.

Wtf kind of argument are you making up in your head? Why bring up something that has nothing to do with the topic?

A good hanzo is just as deadly as a good widow. Because at the end of the day, a one shot headshot is a one shot headshot.

That on top of the fact that tanks cannot dive him because storm arrow deletes them.

You don’t see hanzo often because hitscans exist but that doesn’t mean hanzo is bad. It’s more of hitscans being consistently the best dps every year.

Only lower skilled players are having issues with meta balance. I blame the matchmaker for your bad experience. Ive been playing since Season 13 or something from OW1 and every time there is a new meta I just adjust accordingly. If JR is op I play pharah. If Zar is OP I play Zar. If Sigma is meta I play Sigma. I think most of you are trying to one trick heros from the DPS roles that have never really been great and youre struggling under a failed MM system.

eh?

The meta only affects higher ranks anyway so what does it have to do with lower skill?

because people are not playing purely in their skill bracket with the broken MMR system. There are actual NEW players going against Plat and Diamond level players. Maybe youre only as good as Silver and so Orisa may be more of a challenge than it should be because the Orisa is actually much more skilled and that makes the gap even wider. Meta is not purely high ranks but the limits of the C and D list heros are greater there.

This is what separates the trashmice from the junkrats.

If you are not playing like an absolute madman with no regard for his own well-being you simply are not doing it right.

I’m educating you that damage boosted hitscan/Sojourn have little-to-no risks besides snipers or when mirroring. How the heck are you complaining about Junkrat having no risk in his gameplay when playing him now is incredibly risky in the current meta because of the heroes I mentioned. You can literally watch his projectiles approach you and step out of the way. Your original post makes no sense in the current game when it’s pretty much just Orisa, Sojourn, and Widow playing the game without much risk right now. Every other hero has to play the game on their toes trying not to get burst down.

Don’t mind me, just re-quoting myself from 4 years ago

I played a lot of hanzo casually in OW1, whatever cat-crap changes they did to projectiles makes him feel terrible to play. Probably why you never see him anymore.

(not talking about the projectile speed)

You still have them?

I feel like I need to bring up that this thread was made by someone with a D.Va avatar.

D.Va, a hero who can delete projectiles and shoot rockets at the same time. Truly an icon of risk-taking.
