Why? Are you just trying to benefit from it for as long as possible or is there a reason you actually want broken/OP stuff in the game? Why do so many people think Brigitte is 100% fine and the nerfs that should have happened in testing are more than enough? Why is Spamzo not in an unfixable nonsniper state? Why can’t we have certain things buffed while nerfing the broken stuff?

I think Brigitte needs more nerfs just because of the massive 56% winrate. I don’t understand how people are so stupid to think this is ok to give a hero with a winrate that high. It should be 52% max and even then they need minor nerfs. The pickrate is fine just lower the winrate

In order to get nerfs though you have to base it off more than just stats, you have to watch in game what’s going on. I’m more curious though about why we can’t suggest nerfs and buffs for a hero without a bunch of people bringing in irrelevant points to destroy your arguments

You phrase it in a way that the opposition acknowledges it as broken but fights to keep it anyway, rather than claiming it isn’t broken. Only someone with malicious intention would try to keep around something they think is broken for personal benefit. See the post above this one too. You’re misrepresenting the argument to make it look bad.

Remember when Doomfist was released and all the complaints about him? They went away after about a month. People are still complaining about Brigitte because she is still super OP. I don’t think it’s possible to say 80% of players are bad when Brigitte is literally brought out to win a game and reduce the struggle of your team. I’ve tried her in TDM with 0 time on her and easily win games
Most of the stuff that is currently being defended is OP or broken and can’t be fixed because of how many people want it to stay. Spamzo hasn’t actually had a proper nerf and people still use the 10 damage and slight cooldowns adjustment to say he’s fine. I’ve seen countless people say “the 2 second hack nerf on Sombra sent her to F tier so she doesn’t need another nerf” when really the 2 seconds just added another level of risk vs reward to her. I’m not saying every little thing is OP/broken, I’m just saying I want to know why people think the stuff others abuse to get to GM when it’s first released is still fine months later
Or I’m trying to get a real counter to my reasons instead of going on a rant so only people who think like you are respond and this conversation goes nowhere. I left pleanty of room for people to say they don’t think it’s broken, I’m just waiting to see one of the reasons so I can ask them other questions to clarify even more

That’s an opinion. And if people want it to stay, they don’t think it’s broken. And even if they do, maybe it stays because the devs don’t think it’s broken.

Right, because poisoning the well makes for good, wholesome conversation. Totally doesn’t make it seem like you’re just taking a jab at the opposition. Why not just ask “Why don’t people think X is OP?” if that’s what you really want to know? Why make your disdain so obvious?

Still though, when you change a sniper into an all around DPS, does that not set off warning bells within the dev team? I just saw a post about Hanzo not needing 1 shot potential because he’s not a sniper and there’s quite a few people saying he’s fine and does need to be a sniper. There’s video proof of his arrows bending around a pillar to headshot a Widow and people are still saying his arrow size is fine. If the devs don’t think something is broken when they make it, they should have actual testers to tell them it’s broken. They shouldn’t say “oh let’s wait and see how many people adjust first” before changing anything

Well then it sounds like not many people think he’s OP/broken if there’s quite a few people saying he’s fine. They obviously disagree with you.
The way you set up the post makes it seem like They know he’s OP/broken and want him to stay that way. When they simply don’t think he’s broken, and if they don’t think he’s OP, then he doesn’t need changes. It’s quite simple.

Well, my position is not that I want things to be broken for personal gain. I don’t play Hanzo and I rarely play Brig.
I do however think the complaints about Brig are overblown. There are plenty of ways to deal with her and win rate isn’t everything. Sym and Torb were waaay higher when they were troll picks.
I think Brig is necessary because mobility was quite clearly unmatched before, and the only way to deal with high mobility is hard CC. And after all the nerfs Brig has already received, I don’t really understand why people act as if she’s no different than release.

And that’s what I want to find out. I have my reasons for thinking he is broken, but I want to know why people don’t think he is. If I wanted them to admit things were broken, I would have said “What are your reasons for defending obviously broken and OP stuff?” instead of asking why. I just want to figure out the reasons people don’t think stuff that many others say is broken, is broken. Why doesn’t Hanzo need changes? Why does Hanzo need so much mobility as a Sniper? Why does Hanzo get to be an anything buster?
People will always fight to keep broken stuff in the game as long as it benefits them. Remember release Mccree, Roadhog, and Genji? They all kept saying they were perfectly balanced.
Ah. then I highly recommend changing your title, as simply responding means that they’re admitting they’re OP/Broken.
