Decay’a system. Any idea?

Hi, who knows how decay works?
I got decay and I lost only 7 points and I am wondering how does it work…? I heard I will lose 25 or 50 but I just lost 7SR

And yes if you wondering Diamond sucks and I don’t want to play.

It stops at 3000 SR.

I think they should drop you to 500sr and make you climb back up. You missed a week of play. Start at 500 and climb like your on Everest.

I am going to witness decay for the first time as I placed diamond in CTF. Not that I care I totally get why decay is there in the fuirst place. Ladder sitting stinks.

As the link says, after you decay, you lose less on a loss and gain more on a win until your SR catches back up to your internal MMR.

It would be fun. Clicking heads and all.
One match today and I got a gold mccree overextending . With a Anna and zarya who threw ults all the time. I ended Up so happy about play again. Boosted/smurf/alt make diamond sux.
