Literally look at Overbuff. Sort it by dps role, this month and sort lowest to highest winrate.
Worst win rate out of all dps heroes in the game. And you guys say “oh I wish my hero was as bad as soj”. Every other dps hero is better. You guys just hate her. It has nothing to do with balance. Every time I see a Soj they swap off so quickly because of how trash she is.
I just want s10 Sojourn with a heavily nerfed hitbox for her rail. So that she gets to have fun while not being super consistent and oppressive.

I can only imagine the riots if they’d buffed Sojourn this patch in addition to everything else going on.

It looks to me bad players cant farm tanks then rail squishy heroes, and are now struggling, despite the hero being generally stronger.
Sojourn has always had a low overall win rate.
A lot of players suck with her- she’s a relatively high skill floor hero.

Once sojourn drops to the bottom of the pickrates, then I will start to feel bad for people playing her.
overbuff is kinda… eh.
Maybe bad players should stop crutching on Sojourn now.
No actually she is bad in all elos. Because in high elo her damage is laughable. And in low elo she might be doing better in like bronze or something. But probably not since every other hero is still easier to play.
I’m a Sojourn one trick on dps but now ever since s11 I can’t even stand playing her because she is so useless compared to other heroes who get free value.

I am playing the worlds smallest violin for the sojourn players who play a hero that is still head and shoulders over half the dps roster, just without the crutch of farming tanks for a quick railshot.

This has nothing to do with bad players crutching on Sojourn. She does require skill to aim and get some value out of her. It’s just her hitbox on rail has been a bit too big even before s9.
Also I’m a Sojourn one trick and even I have been hardcore struggling with how bad she is. It’s a universal thing. I want her to be a high skill, high reward hero. Not a low skill, low reward hero.
Also it has been confirmed by blizzard that the stats on overbuff are pretty similar to their actual numbers. Maybe not completely exact but it does tell the rough story.

Sounds like you had a crutch, and are now floundering without it.
You chose a bad place to come to talk about Souj, the opinion of many players in this forum is totally biased, many GMs apparently were traumatized by her railgun lol.
They forget that in general even without the nerfs she received recently, Souj had the worst winrate of all the dps roster and was the penultimate dps with the lowest pick rate.
So don’t waste your time OP, you won’t get the answers you’re looking for here.

She is the worst dps in the game. And the stats show it. Every dps has a higher winrate and can get more value than soj. You just won’t except the facts because before she used to be very strong. And its apparently not believeable for you to think they dumpstered the hero.
Its not a crutch. I just like rail guns and her mobility. And if you dumpster any hero that someone mains of course they will struggle no matter how good they are at a hero.

A lot of heroes have been completely dumpstered because people have an occasional bad experience with that hero. Widow has been dumpstered at one point. Hanzo has been completely dumpstered and can’t even one shot anymore still. Junkrat has had his oneshot combo ruined at times.
Lots of dps heroes have completely been dumpstered because blizzard listens to bad feedback. I don’t advocate for any hero to dumpstered. I want all heroes to have their hero fantasy and to have fun. It doesn’t matter if I dislike a hero or not. I don’t think they should be forcefully dumpstered because I don’t like them. Because even then I can see some oneshot heroes can be balanced but annoying.
I know soj has been broken but I think she can just go in the route of having a much more reduced hitbox with railgun and that would make it so her rail isn’t as consistent. And I think this change could help other oneshot heroes to feel more balanced too.

I am here for a discussion, and that discussion is dumpstering a lot of the ridiculously broken DPS to be at the same level as the bad dps. When everyone is as bad as reaper and sym, everybody is viable.
Sojourn the worst dps? It is you who are the troll.
