Both teams still have their chances at stage playoffs, right?

This will be an interesting rematch to watch. Hoping this one goes Dragon’s way. They have been looking so much better and just barely lost the last one due to a C9.

Yes but its slim for the Dragons at their current pace.

i dont like back to back games for teams, its wrong on so many levels.

Atlanta plays NYXL twice in Stage 2…

Boston plays Eternal twice in Stage 3

Those are rough. At least Dragons and Fuel are a good match up.

Can someone explain to me how owl scheduling works.

Is every team supposed to play every other team? Why are these two teams allowed to rematch right away.

Why don’t the teams play uniformly, or as close as possible.

A simple round robin schedule could have easily set up the regular season

Yeah I am check each individual team schedules (which you can find the PDFs here BTW), and there are a lot of back-to-backs throughout the schedule.

doesn’t mean its fair to be honest, hopefully next season there is a procedures in place to remove back to back games.

Perhaps, but what I can say each team will play against each team at least once to fill 19 of the 28 possible matches, rematches will be against division opponents.

Actually I would anticipate more of a two to three game series schedule (similar to that of Major League Baseball or the National Hockey League), next year as we will have the “home” arenas for each team assuming the development plan for the league continues.

Dragons are looking amazing tonight!

You play each team in the same division twice, and each team in the other division once. Total of 28 matches for each team.

The individual stage schedules is a bit more arcane.

But why divisions. If theyre all in the same city now anyway seems forced. Also if this league goes global then Pacific Atlantic also wouldn’t make sense in terms of proximity. In any case I appreciate the clarification

the last 3 minutes was heart stopping well played by both teams.

That was a long fight… Shanghai should not have tried to save that as soon as the point was flipped, they should have regrouped as fast as they could.

People say its something about how sports work in USA. I’m not american, so I know as much as you. Here in Brazil the national league in traditional sports are all a big blob where everyone play against everyone.
