They tried to squeeze as much as they could out of you with lootboxes. Then, rather than making it so different roles or characters had some kind of separate rankings, they made you buy second accounts. I even have two accounts just because I played DPS, but if I switched to a tank or healer at my rank, I’d lose every game. So, I bought a second account for tanks/healers. They could’ve fixed that long ago. But people kept spending.
Unfortunately, OW1 failed at squeezing, which is why OW2 exists now, lol.

If so i also got the survey about prices ans it was pretty funny. They give you 3 options to choose from for the game… Like 40€ was the lowest without any skins… Then 70€ without any skins, then what if we get you one skin would you okay to pay 80€? What if we give you 3 or 4 Skins is 130€ a good deal?
They mostly wanted to find out what price seems reasonable for people when you add skins to it. And it wasnt even many skins but the price was delusional.

why do you think they’re going f2p and also completely removing our ability to play the first game? shunting everyone on the predatory battle pass business model is part of the program. of course it’s getting worse, it’s blizzard
Yeah you guys are going to have to suck it up soon, this should be interesting. You can still play OW2 for free, all characters, modes and maps. OTOH, prepare to look like clowns in those drab skins
