CS2 the new Overwatch killer

You should you might like no build.

Some of the most skilled with how movement in Overwatch is. Trying to track a Tracer takes more skill than any shooter

Yeah, and it’s compensated for by heroes that have little to no spread/recoil. The number of heroes you’re referencing are a pretty miniscule part of the cast honestly

The TTK is way slower than games with heavy recoil like CS, Val.

lol xD

Would rather pop my head off than touch League with a 10ft pole.

Going on year 7 of people saying this, so I don’t think this is the case. I know this is anecdotal, but I have more friends playing now and more frequently than ever before.

I haven’t played Fortnite in years since my nephews thankfully got bored of it. Do the assault rifles still have horrible spread? Do the shotguns feel pretty random? Does the audio still kinda crap out when it comes to players being above/below?

Go post this on the Valo forums (where it makes more sense, those gamse are more alike) and see what they think.

Have you actually played Ashe recently? At range bodyshots do like 20 damage. Another hero destroyed because Team 4 refuse to address Mercy so every DPS needs to be shafted because of the breakpoints Mercy beam creates.

This

If any game has a chance of killing OverwatchN it would be if Paladins suddenly gained the kevel of polish OW has.

Even without said polish Ive still started playing more Paladins than OW. Not knowing anything really helps enjoy the game tbh.

another mccree meta will get rid of the last remaining players, is that what you want?

Its really not as bad as people make it out to be.

McCree was much stronger Cassidy, they really cannot compare.

yeah see thats problem, all my friends quit in 2018. came back during ow2’s season 1 then quit again when it was clear the game wasnt being managed any better.

we have factual evidence from blizzard that the game isnt doing as well as they want. they have to release information to investors and the last time they did this (which was after diablo 4’s release and before ow2 season 6 i believe) the blizzard section had the same monthly active users that they had BEFORE ow2 released. meaning that with d4 being out and popular at the time some other blizzard games had to of been hemorrhaging players. and overwatch was shortly after that announced to be released on steam

im not saying its dead but overwatch has been dying for 7 years, its just really difficult to kill a game people like.

look at wow, 2+ bad expansions back to back and people still came back for dragon flight.

I won’t be. I don’t like the art style and I especially don’t like the community.

I’ll stick with Valorant and it’s slightly less bad community.

They are still likely making ten times more with all their monetization though.

Counter-strike is like a snooze fest. One of the most one-dimensional boring shooters I’ve ever played. No thanks.

Wasn’t a fan of CSGO’s graphics, but CS2 is clean.

Both games still have the op crutch which ruins em for me.

you know idk if thats true

id be surprised if they were seeing as they forced ow onto steam. their were plenty of other games that would of made more sense to put on steam if overwatch was doing well

but it seems that they push it out because they were afraid they wouldnt make enough money.

for instance

Activision Blizzard has said that Overwatch 2’s engagement and player investment has declined considerably. What next? The second quarter of the financial year 2022-23 has not been good for Activision Blizzard as its profit and revenue have come down.

However, Blizzard has pinned its hope on ‘Overwatch 2: Invasion in Season 6’ and thinks that the new avatar will trigger interest and bring the gamers back. Overwatch 2: Invasion Season 10 is most likely to be released on August 10.

i have no idea how accurate this is

but several places such as

https://www.dexerto.com/overwatch/blizzard-admits-overwatch-2-engagement-is-in-decline-in-latest-earnings-report-2218345/

https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/international/us/activision-blizzard-admits-failure-of-overwatch2-pins-hope-on-overwatch-2-invasion-in-season-6/articleshow/101995719.cms?from=mdr

reported that blizzard has admitted overwatch 2 is doing poorly to investors.

So we’re comparing an old-school FPS with futuristic weapons with a modern day FPS containing only percussion weapons and no respawn.

Why would anyone who likes Overwatch want to play Counter-Strike and its horrible spread system?

To not have to deal with broken abilities/ ultimate’s. Overpowered supports and raid boss tanks.
