been playing csgo (rip) since 2014.
There was no such thing as banned for smurfing lmao.
if you have a 80% winrate you will climb very quickly , especially if you won most of your first 10 placement games. The most I’ve got was master guardian 2 on a fresh account.
that is the cooldown to calibrate your mmr. After 2 wins you are on 21 hours cd lmao.
That was on csgo in cs2 they removed it.
every 2 wins for the first 10 games you will gat a 21 hours ban.
And i dont care what a forum nobody says who seems to not accept reality.
There are people still circumventing this through patience but its very very less cause its a chore to do unlike the ease do a 5 hr stream and post it as yt video make money with no repurcussions rule that blizzard has.
not the exact same system, but you will be reported for griefing and put into a competitive cd.
Cause the new system has ranks for each map plus the premier rank doing that exactly would make it tough and chore.
You can see actual smurf u2gms sweating about getting banned early and see it happen cause it works.
this is something else lmao. I thought that the game somehow knew you were smurfing and placing you on cd.
If it’s based on reports then yeah that’s normal lmao.
Eh it’s not really a chore, in premier it’s 10 games on multiple maps and on the other mode you choose your favorite map(s) and play.
you show me links with csgo and that’s why I was confused.
During Placement Matches in Competitive, you can win max. 2 matches a day. After the second victory, you will receive temporary blocking for 20 hours, when it’s over you can further proceed to calibration.
Nothing to do with 80% winrate or whatever nonsense you are saying
So just…take a two week break, start one on a different hero, and continue once it’s unbanned? That wouldn’t do anything.
Also, just saying, this is the main reason why low ranks aren’t filled with smurfs. The anti smurf ranks them up too quickly. So before you say new accounts shouldn’t get GM in 6 hours, remember that the amount of smurfs in low ranks will be exponentially higher.
That being said, I do think the anti smurf needs a bit of toning down. I’ve gotten and faced new players in Masters lobbies, which is absolutely not ok.
I had housefire in 2022 and lost of most of my stuff. Tried recovering my Blizz account and just couldn’t. Is what it is. Stuff happens, people lose accounts, it happens.
There is really a grey area in terms of how this gets enforced to me. Yeah maybe it’ll be effective. But it also could do harm to those not guilty of smurfing.
Tough. I’m inclined to say implementing something like what CS is doing is for the best. I’m uneasy about trusting Bliz to get it right though
