Crazy FPS drops 1080ti with low graphics setting

I am getting bad spikes in the game about 3-4 times per game.

The fps goes from 300 to 20ish when the spike happens.

I play on low graphics but 2k res and have a 1080ti and 8700k cpu.

Any help would be appreciated. This has only happened recently for me.

It happend to me aswell. For me nothing really worked (I had the newest drivers/OS updates, deleted the cashe folder for the launcher, tried repairing the game etc.)

In the end I just completely fresh installed my graphics drivers and it worked. Try uninstalling your drivers with the DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and then installing the newest driver from the nvidia website.
