Doubtful it is just a fluke. RTX graphics cards are known to cause rendering device lost issues.
I also have a RTX 2070 and in my experience it always comes back. It may be a day or it could be a week but it came back every single time for me, that was until I used the renaming fix as mentioned by Blizzard, see the above link for more details.
