Same! After thinking about it, the logical choices for characters…aren’t my type. It’s hard to justify when OW2 coin weeklies haven’t been updated after 9 seasons.
I think it takes something like 6 months to get enough coins to buy one skin (if the price is about 1900), assuming you max out every week, which isn’t easy imo. Looking at like 50+ games a week give or take your number of wins.
Simply put once or twice a year you MIGHT be able to get a skin, depending how much you completed your weeklies. Add to that these extremely limited time offers, it makes “new skins” basically pointless to a large portion of the player base.
Even if you have the money though these “Event skins” come out so often you’d barely get to enjoy them before another comes out. Making the window of use for your money fairly low.

Anybody coming over from the netflix abomination has terrible taste… and would probably be the prime candidates to be taken advantage of with this game’s god awful monetization.
Collab skins are so far the only ones not to be able to return.

Funny enough most people think of Tank, which is really good. But to me the best song is always “Rain” I believe though I swear it was “Green Rain”, the song that plays when Spike falls out the window.
Edit: Nvm lol split the difference. Green Bird is the song I thought of. Both good though

The best song is real folk blues, the outro song.
The worst thing about the live action series is they didnt even attempt to emulate the style and themes of the anime, which were episodes being either vibrant jazz themed or moody blues. To me it seemed like they looked at stills to get the visual style, and didnt even bother watching.
It’s one the many issues with modern media. They do nothing but reworks, but barely pay attention to the originals. Many even boldly claim to not watch it so it wouldn’t “cloud their vision” or something along that lines.
Not a fan of one piece the manga or anime, but those involved with the live action at least understand the source material, which is just a further punch in the face of the people responsible for the cowboy bebop netflix show.
You can see the difference between those who care, and those who are just cashing in on an existing franchise.
