Could COVID-19 impact development of OW2?

Thats because people are not allowed to leave their homes at all, and the vaccine will take at least a year and a half. Vaccine testing takes a long time.

It will slow down, but when it hits fall again, it explodes with more power. Summer just weakens it, not kill it off completaly.

As I write this, there have been just over 3300 Coronavirus deaths worldwide.
Worldwide.

3602 people in California died of car accidents alone in 2017.

I’m talking also for a vaccine or a cure. I don’t think we are so far

Viruses practically dont have cures, and vaccines take a very long time to make. 15 months at the earliest till we have a vaccine, and vaccines only prevent to stop you from getting infected, so everyone already infected will still have it. Treatment is really the only way.

The developers work in a huge team that need to frequently communicate with each other. How many people can fit in one Skype call without chaos?

Not everyone will have the correct resources at home, either.

But that’s the reality. Amazon too.

I know, but i’m optimistic that vaccine will be here before 15 months

Only start panicking once the media stops panicking.
Their job is to make it seem worse than it is to get clicks.

Probably not beyond local infrastructure disruption. They’ll probably work on it from home. Just about every company is preparing to do that if possible.

Those are simply the most likely to die. It’s not like there aren’t other symptoms, and we know that reinfection is possible.

No, there are 3300 deaths worldwide that we know of. Combine inadequate testing worldwide with the difficulty in assessing high risk areas like North Korea and Iran, the number is higher, and can easily grow if left unchecked. The epicenter in China has dedicated hospitals built for the disease with otherwise uncommon ECMO machines for keeping people alive after respiratory failure. We can’t expect that level of availability in most parts of the world. What kills people is gonna be medical facilities being overrun with more patients than they have staff, equipment, and space to handle.

It’s still a big problem in areas that are hot year round. Heat isn’t gonna do much.

They didn’t release a new hero since 7 months because of Corona(beer).

Definitely, software development is famous from requiring mass gatherings of coders under the same roof.

I’ve already responded to this previously. I’m talking also about a vaccine and targeted treatmenst better than now, not only about heat.
Anyway edited my original phrase so people can understand better.

We won’t know for sure till a Offical statement is made by the president. They most likely have their other campuses on shutdown like Versailles and Korea due to the outbreak.

We will have to wait for Blizzard to say something before we know for sure.

It’s gonna be like 28 days later soon, barried exclusion zones where the infected can’t come in. Armed guards, No Food. Glad I managed 48 years of life. Worse for the young ones. It’s coming, you can’t stop this. It will then mutate and if it didn’t get you first time it will get you second or third time.

Ok maybe not, but it’s still frightening on so many levels. Worst thing to happen to the world in my time, not been this scared since the cold war as a child.

It’s the waiting that’s the worst, not knowing if you’re gonna get it, how it’s gonna effect you, how it’s gonna effect your family and friends.

You can’t book any large events to go to. More than depressing.

Sit it out and hope is all you can do.

Already costco out of toilet roll. B&Q got some, 11 quid for 24 rolls. I’d rather shower my butt than pay that.

As long as I get loaded up with Doritos and stay indoors playing overwatch hopefully it will pass by and the summer will end it.

I wonder what Michael Jackson would of made of this virus?

Yes they’re asking them to wash their hands and if come into contact with it to self isolate.

More people die from other things everyday. It’s just the flu and it’s been over strategised. Governments should be ashamed

Jeez

It’s good to be optimistic, but we just got to be careful.
Just because the Flu has a vaccine, people still need to be careful about spreading it. Viruses are tricky like that.

E3 Gamescom Blizzcon and Olympic Games got more chances to get canceled, than animal testing to find a treatment this year.
Just hope it will get less in hoter days, and prevent more in September.

Blizzcon probably will be closed to the public, but will still be streamed in all likelyness,

Yes dear leader!! (Pls award me with citizen points)

Working from home is still a thing in 2020. Most companies do that.
