Thats because people are not allowed to leave their homes at all, and the vaccine will take at least a year and a half. Vaccine testing takes a long time.
It will slow down, but when it hits fall again, it explodes with more power. Summer just weakens it, not kill it off completaly.
Viruses practically dont have cures, and vaccines take a very long time to make. 15 months at the earliest till we have a vaccine, and vaccines only prevent to stop you from getting infected, so everyone already infected will still have it. Treatment is really the only way.
Probably not beyond local infrastructure disruption. Theyāll probably work on it from home. Just about every company is preparing to do that if possible.
Those are simply the most likely to die. Itās not like there arenāt other symptoms, and we know that reinfection is possible.
No, there are 3300 deaths worldwide that we know of. Combine inadequate testing worldwide with the difficulty in assessing high risk areas like North Korea and Iran, the number is higher, and can easily grow if left unchecked. The epicenter in China has dedicated hospitals built for the disease with otherwise uncommon ECMO machines for keeping people alive after respiratory failure. We canāt expect that level of availability in most parts of the world. What kills people is gonna be medical facilities being overrun with more patients than they have staff, equipment, and space to handle.
Itās still a big problem in areas that are hot year round. Heat isnāt gonna do much.
Iāve already responded to this previously. Iām talking also about a vaccine and targeted treatmenst better than now, not only about heat.
Anyway edited my original phrase so people can understand better.
We wonāt know for sure till a Offical statement is made by the president. They most likely have their other campuses on shutdown like Versailles and Korea due to the outbreak.
We will have to wait for Blizzard to say something before we know for sure.
Itās gonna be like 28 days later soon, barried exclusion zones where the infected canāt come in. Armed guards, No Food. Glad I managed 48 years of life. Worse for the young ones. Itās coming, you canāt stop this. It will then mutate and if it didnāt get you first time it will get you second or third time.
Ok maybe not, but itās still frightening on so many levels. Worst thing to happen to the world in my time, not been this scared since the cold war as a child.
Itās the waiting thatās the worst, not knowing if youāre gonna get it, how itās gonna effect you, how itās gonna effect your family and friends.
You canāt book any large events to go to. More than depressing.
Sit it out and hope is all you can do.
Already costco out of toilet roll. B&Q got some, 11 quid for 24 rolls. Iād rather shower my butt than pay that.
As long as I get loaded up with Doritos and stay indoors playing overwatch hopefully it will pass by and the summer will end it.
I wonder what Michael Jackson would of made of this virus?
Itās good to be optimistic, but we just got to be careful.
Just because the Flu has a vaccine, people still need to be careful about spreading it. Viruses are tricky like that.
E3 Gamescom Blizzcon and Olympic Games got more chances to get canceled, than animal testing to find a treatment this year.
Just hope it will get less in hoter days, and prevent more in September.
