Apparently they had yet another one of those secret meetings that us plebs aren’t allowed to know about. I wonder why Blizzbones can’t just tell us what’s going on

I don’t believe a single thing. Yes, they are all pretty much repeating the same thing about 2022 being the “year of Overwatch” but my advice would be to NOT get your hopes up and be disappointed again.
They are all well known shills that try to create the hype out of nothing. Highly doubt that anything is happening in 2022 just like it didn’t in past 2 years.

I already have my eyes set on Gundam Evolution.
I just know whatever they do, they’ve got a really high chance of disappointing me so I’ve got very low expectations. so low that they’re not neutral, they’re negative. i.e. I’m not expecting nothing, I’m expecting them to flop and push out something detrimental.

i was kind of thinking the same thing. i swore on that last influence creator “fun” xcard they mentioned that they would do more down the road. maybe becoming a frequent thing
i wouldnt mind it personally. i know it can be biased but i do like playing a multitude of heroes so ill find something fun with ANOTHER x-card like that. of course someone who mains a hero and has an indefiinate attachment to one that isnt fairly represented wont

Whyyy do the devs give this guy info and attention? An Owl team stopped associating with him as their main streamer because of his behavior and he himself said he would stay away from Overwatch for awhile (which ended up lasting like a week lol)
He really isn’t hard to please. Just show him balance numbers where certain heroes get nerfed. The only thing that’s hard for him to swallow or when things he hates aren’t nerfed enough.

Given how karq seemed eager, I take it optimistically with a grain of salt, because I find him to be the most credible
I can’t judge it much further because there’s nothing to know. But considering I very commonly share the same views and positions as a lot of these content creators, if they’re happy, I’m probably gonna be happy

would be nice if its maybe like a multitude of new heroes and maybe a new mode and animated cinematic but of course ill be just kidding myself and setting myself up to disappointment with that optimism lol
I’m seeing a lot of optimism from creators I trust but… idk they’ve been led a stray before. The “pride is coming to Overwatch” being something that I remember vividly lol. The icon never even got renamed.
What do you guys expect? For them to grab a couple no-name forumers and show them new heroes? No, they’re going to show content to people with an actual presence in the community. Content creators get people talking and speculating about the game’s upcoming content, but if forum user “xXxDeathReaperxXx” sees the content then the news reaches significantly less people.

That’s not what anyone is saying lol. The point is, if they’re so established in what they’re doing that they can meet this many content creators, they can release a synopsis about the meeting and let the entire community share the hype.

That’s kinda what’s piqued my interest too. Say what you want about Samito…love him or hate him. But he’s really, really been one of the games hardest critics lately. And YourOverwatch. But if both of them seem to be really really happy with what they’ve heard. Then I’m very interested in what’s to come.
And I don’t watch either of these btw…just saying

I don’t use Twitter so I’d never have known if you hadn’t brought it up, OP.
The trouble is that there’s nothing to go on so I’m not moved at all. The surprise could be anything from another fun Exp to a WIP, playable 5v5 mode to OW2 Open Beta news, but without more info I’m going to set my expectations to zero.
