Since I started playing today, it’s been constant disconnects while in game and then 50 players ahead of you. In all of my Overwatch 2 playing years, never seen this before. Are there too many people playing and the servers can’t handle it?

I’m having the same problem as well, get mid way in a game then I get randomly disconnected and put back in the queue again.

You’re not the only one. It happened to me too (after a game finished thankfully). And I’ve been watching Flats’ stream and it’s happened to him at least 2 times since I started watching.

Same sh..t here…
The game keep crashing, friend aren’t connected, can’t queue as a team, when everything go great… we disconnect and back to the waiting list before joining..

Same issue here, clearly it’s on bnet’s end if so many of us are dealing with the same problem out of nowhere. Hopefully it gets fixed soon cus if this lasts more than a few hours im probs gonna lose interest in the game.

Just got disconnected for the 3rd time in 10 minutes WHILE IN PRACTICE RANGE. I am literally playing the game. This is ridiculous, I have already lost interest. 99% sure they are boosting the “interest” with fake players and now it’s booting real people off. F Battlenet and f overwatch.

It’s buggy in general today. I have to choose ready several times before a game will initialize. I’ve restated everything. If it continues I’ll just go back to Marvel Rivals for the day.
I mean, let’s be completely honest. This could mark the end of the end of OW. I’ve found other main games months or years ago, and OW has become a back burner game for me at this point. They can’t get their sh*t together, and just make the stupidest decisions as far as devs, balancing, MMR. Do you honestly think they care about their servers? Why do you think they host them on Amazon garbo servers in the first place? Their cheap, and you’ll continue to buy the cosmetics every new week, for a dev team that prioritizes cosmetic sales over actual game quality. OW has now become a cosmetics store for a game you cannot play. Pack it up boys, it’s time to find something new.

Just got DCed in the middle of match to having a queue in front of me, once logged back i got a warning about my endorsment going down if i continue to abandon games. Like what? Bnet services kicked me, and now your going to tank my shinny 5 because you can’t figure out servers? : / Kind of dumb. Looks like im going to go play something else for now.

Also having issues. It wasn’t tracking my dailies until I rebooted the game. Then, none of my friends were showing up in my friends list and I would have to reboot. It would take a minute to register that I was ready for role cue. Struggled to open a loot box. You’re in a game just watching people leaving and joining. It’s really awful. Don’t really know how they messed it up so bad. I don’t think I ever had an issue this bad before. Kinda disappointing.

I’ve been kicked out of a few games and am always 50 in queue.
Have had multiple teammates get kicked.
Takes many tries of hitting play to register.
Struggling to connect to the match once it’s found.
Got a voice chat error.
…Yeah I think I’ll just play something else.

Had a queue to play then got Disconnected as soon as I loaded into a game and put back in queue.. Would keep trying to play but don’t want the game to discipline me for “leaving” games.

Twice now in the last hour, both times coincidentally playing jetpack cat but there’s probably no correlation. Mid game just get booted with a message saying “Disconncted by Battle.net Services” with players queue screen. I guess it’s time to do something productive. I just hope they won’t be handing out leavers penalty for their own issue.

Yeah I just hopped on and I’ve been disconnected 3 times in less than an hour. Played a full game and just as it was about to end, I got disconnected yet again. This needs to seriously get fixed. It’s ridiculous and the fact that it’s effecting our endorsement levels and giving us game bans because of leaving even though it’s not our fault is stupid. I hope they fix it soon because I really love this game. I don’t wanna leave it

man people in this thread are so dramatic. “If it isn’t fixed in the next hour or so I will lose interest in the game” is your attention span so tiny that a few hours of not playing a game is enough to cry “dead game.” “no interest” Be so for real.
We live in an age of constant internet outages and server issues across countless games, applications, and processes.
For those whining about comp, maybe don’t play comp right now? if you disconnected even once during a comp game, why would you jump back in knowing the risks? Be smart about it, you are capable of it. Play mystery heros or something.

yeah, you guys just need to wait because blizzard is slow about this stuff. Also, ClairDeLunar really be defending the $20 BILLION company rn like they shouldn’t have foreseen this, it is a giant update along with reverting the name back to Overwatch which would have brought new players for jetpack cat and old players for the name revert.
the problem is overwatch knew there would be an increase in players because of five new heroes, comp reset and a new season. A company as large as blizzard should be able to handle this kind of thing and quickly but that isn’t happening. People want to play the game competitive or not, so asking them to not queue a mode rather than asking the billion dollar company to fix their issues is tone deaf
You do realize that devs don’t work on weekends and stuff like this just happens occasionally right? Its not defending the company or game, its just being realistic and not being a prissy never-satisfied typical whiny gamer douche who’s sad they are not getting their daily dopamine boost for a couple hours. Go outside. Let them fix what is obviously stressing out the entire dev team right now, and stop crying like its the end of the world cause you can’t play 30 min of QP’s just to run it down.
