Every time I load OW2 or even randomly throughout games my game crashes and the error code varies but the issue is always described as a GPU issue, now I have rolled back updates and reinstalled updates numerous times checked multiple settings and such and the issue keeps happening. I doubt for 4070 TI Super is the issue but I need to know if anyone has the same issues let alone a fix for this issue
Happens to me as well. Can’t get through a full game without crashing. I’m not even sure of the cause in my case. I’ve tried re-installing the game and everything. Help would be very much appreciated as next season looks so rad and I would like to partake.
What’s crazy is Overwatch is currently the only game that crashes for me.
On top of other games, I play Star Citizen and I haven’t crashed when playing. STAR CITIZEN, a game KNOWN for crashing/instability (it has improved massively in recent times though so it’s a lot more enjoyable lol).

I can play 1 game and then random crash either at the start of the next game or mid game. I put all my in game settings down and I’m down to crashing either once I find a game or after my second game and then it’s good for a few games. Don’t know what the issue was but I must be along the right track for it to go from not opening to holding the stability for a bit. It really is the only game that seems to be having this issue for me, DayZ, 7DTD, CoD, Rivals, any game is perfectly fine but OW just doesn’t work. I did a uninstall 3 times and reinstalled, rolled back a drivers update and tried nope didnt work. Then did uninstall and reinstall 3 times new drivers didn’t work I magically got it to open one time and just quickly went into settings and defaulted everything then it crashed out again a few times uninstall and reinstall a few more times and then just went into settings and put everything to potato quality and its somewhat working
Hey, just wanted to share what finally worked for me (so far) after weeks of random crashes:
- Tried lowering graphics, updating drivers, scanning files, reinstalling — nothing helped
- Temps were fine, power supply was solid, system was brand new
- What finally seems to have fixed it: I used DDU to fully remove NVIDIA drivers, then did a clean install manually of the latest version. I actually used chatgpt for instructions so i recommend that as well haha
Update - updated BIOS seems to have completely fix the problem if anyone needs a fix and has tried everything but this should try seemed to fix my issue for overwatch and rivals
