Constant 6% loss out

Hi,
I don’t remember exactly when this issue arises but in all of my games in the past week, I always got the orange symbol for packet loss. When I check the graph with Ctrl+Shift +N , I can see that there is around ~6 % loss out.

Below is the extract from winMTR

Hello!

The winMTR test looks pretty good. Was the loss happening while the test was running? If yes, it could be something treating the game data differently than the test data.

Things to try:

  1. Use the in-game setting for Limit Client Send Rate, it will be listed under general settings
  2. Factory reset the modem/router
  3. Disable background applications

Testing a different network may also help to verify if the issue is related to software on the PC vs the network itself. That way we can provide more targeted troubleshooting.

Hope the info helps. Let us know how things go!

Hi Kaldraydis,
thank for the suggestions.

I tried to limit client send rate but seems like it somehow removes the sound effect for bullet hits.
I have reset the modem and router and disable background applications.
Nothing works.

It recently got worse too.

Having the exact same issues. Limit Client Send Rate isnt changing it in the slightest either. Anything but ow is fine

Hey there,

It looks like the packet loss is happening on the quoted peer network. This appears to be one of the networks that your service provider uses to route the data to our game servers. The best thing to do would be to reach out to the service provider and let them know of the issue. They can reach out to the owner of this problem node to have it resolved.

If there’s anything else you might need just let us know! Thanks for playing and enjoy the games!
