It does everything, it only get immediately reapplied if you don’t allow yourself to get healed up to full

That literally makes no sense. As long as DPS damage isnt blocked or sucked, you can get the -20% healing debuff.

Having full HP doesn’t do anything to stop it.

I never understood why this is the case. Almost every time someone switches to JQ in my game they turn it around as she is incredibly hard to kill with her tiny hitbox. I guess the larger bullets/projectiles will have an impact on that and the de-buff healing. So she is probably worse than before, but not nearly as bad as hog.

They still need to address Ana anti-nade for tanking to ever be fun. If they thought this patch would get them out of nerfing granny’s no-skill ability they were wrong.

You’re brain is to small to understand what I’m saying (which is fine) there’s no difference between what I’m suggesting and hiding behind a wall waiting for your cool downs. Who cares about,-20% healing when you’re a full HP Orisa with 300+ armor doesn’t matter at all

It feels terrible to tank now…I would literally rather support and I hate support.

tank maisn when they cant facetank a whole team for 20 seconds in the open with 0 movement, damage mitigation or cover usage

Or even leave cover to actually do their jobs as tanks.

Tanking feels objectively bad, especially in lower ranks where nobody plays aggressively with you and expect you to sit there and take punishment until a pick is secured (which almost never happens). So if you push it, it’s “why are you going in alone tank?” and if you play on your heels to stay with the team it’s “tank does nothing”. Tanking shouldn’t even be ranked since it’s literally just a coinflip in any lobby.

I’ve been having fun on JQ but maps with long alleyways are even more brutal than they were before. I can’t play her on 66 or Numbani or Havana or I’m just going to die and my team will get murdered. On maps with cover she’s still fun, but long sightline maps are death.

Tank definitely feels a lot worse than before(which is saying something) but I don’t have an issue with the new dps passive since It makes DPS impactful again they have basically been a cosmetic role the past few seasons. However that being said tanks can’t fulfill their role if it’s impossible for them to pressure the enemy and take space. I feel that they should have either increased all tanks base damage, or given them all additional armour instead of white health.

Kinda nice this big patch literally kept the meta’s almost identical besides doom.

Winston is overrated.
They made mercy almost un-killable to a sickening amount when you’re against really good mercy otp’s.

Pharah got mauled because of pharmacy.
Not the mercy passive support heal, and she heals when she heals someone. Not that. Shhh that was fine.

They should add 6v6 back. Make tank not giga op. With these changes it’s like if tank currently does something bad or doesn’t ride the meta. It’s an L.

I say this as a Support main, and that’s because the increase of Tanks getting upset that they “aren’t getting healed” has risen exponentially. Supports are literally unable to outheal the damage they are taking sometimes.

Too bad the devs can’t admit defeat and start the rework to go back to 6v6 . 2 Tanks (obviously with reworks/tweaks) would solve lots of problems.

DPS are punished as well. Many DPS players are super isolationists in a way. Lone wolf players. The people who would either play flanker all day solo or sit there in the rear shooting at whatever they want without regard to their surroundings.

Both styles of play have arguably been nerfed for DPS. It takes longer to kill someone in a 1v1 meaning players can interrupt it. Especially the flanking sort. 1v1 fights take longer, but blowing up to an entire team hasn’t slowen down. While many burst kills are now avoidable preventing getting kills through a DPS + support heals. There are enough break points ruined your window for solo kills is dramatically reduced.

Double tank leads to more sustain in the game. Cycling defensive abilities on double shield is exactly why it was very powerful. Its mitigated, but still very viable on rotating defensive abilities like dva/winston or rein/zarya. Oh, let me sleep this rein stupidly charging, oh, he got bubbled, twice, and suzu’d, and then grabbed.

You can generally bait out long cooldowns by bringing someone low on support abilities, you can’t really bait out support AND tank abilities. That’s too much.

We don’t need to make tank more enjoyable. We have enough tank players as is at 1+2+2. 20% of the population per game is all we need for tanks. Qtimes have been amazing. There are things to reduce tank frustrations, but its more about specific match-ups.

The other thing too is there are a LOT of dumb tank players imo who have no idea how to play the role. They will learn this patch to slow up or get killed.

that demonstrates you inability to know when best to do so, and or elements of your own team are enable to speed that process up

Depends on the JQ player, I can dominate on her however its is pretty much Map dependent. compact maps are best, and using cover until you strike, and when you do strike its the right target, then use shout to get out not in,
I sometimes can do it on more open maps but its after getting a read for the enemy team and what i think i can get away with.

But yeah taking is worse now, you are relied upon more than ever, punished and abused for it, more now,
and your performance is less on your own skill now and subject completely to the actions of your own team most specifically your DPS. its now a simple question i ask my self, how to my DPS compare to the other team. which side has focus fire and which doesn’t. which outranges the other, etc, and anytime my dps fall short in that equation i know I’m in for a rough time. same applies to support but its more a question of which Moira is just going to frontline DPS and which is going to stand next to tank.
while i still try to win i know im just wasting my time alot of the time.

hate to say it but the only constant there is you, perhaps you need to look at yourself more for improvement instead of blaming others, send me replay codes if you don’t believe me.

Well I mean they kinda have themselves to blame blizzard listens to them the most. They post the videos whether complaining about this or that or praising this or that and blizzard is taking notes from it and uses it too change the game.
