i have 60 wins and im stucked in bronze 5 at least you are more higher hahaha im just kidding but its so frustrating play over and over and the bronze 5 (in my case) problems still there

Update: I’ve been seeing some posts saying that making your career profile public will fix the bug. I’m not sure if it will work for everyone, but it did work for me. I finished my seven matches and ranked up. I’m going to continue playing to see if this is permanent or only temporary.
ETA: I “ranked up” twice more but my skill tier stayed the same. It seems the fix was only temporary.

Great post! Hopefully, this gets eyes on it. I’ve had 4 rank updates with a few losses (nothing crazy) since my post and still bronze 5… I’ll try to set my career profile to public and see how that goes! Good luck to everyone that’s dealing with this as well.

I have been stuck in Bronze 5. I have gone through the “rank up” process 2 times since the patch at least. Still in bronze 5. My profile is set to public. Unfortunately I am not making headway. It is certainly discouraging me from playing competitive. I have been playing more custom and quick play, and honestly taking nights off more frequently because I know this isn’t going to be fixed.
Been playing Bliz games since before Battle.net was launched and the quality just isn’t there anymore. It is incredibly disappointing.

Stuck at Bronze 5 since launch. Ranked “up” 7 times now as DPS and still Bronze 5. I average about 7 wins and 1-3 losses each time. So I don’t see any other explanation for this besides a bug.
Same thing with support. I went 7-1 and you guessed it Bronze 5.

Same for me i was gold before, now im stuck at bronze 5… and i win 10 games in a row as DPS and they placed me bronze 5 again like wtf? I did it now 3 times in a row… so im tired of playing overwatch again…

Yeah, even though setting my profile to public worked for me, it was only temporary. I ranked up once and then remained stuck at this new skill tier. I appreciate the players trying to find solutions, but this is something that Blizzard needs to fix.

I’ve been almost 2 weeks without playing, because to waste my time I’d better leave it.
It’s a shame because my friends have continued to rank, but I already told them that until next season I won’t touch the game again. The attention they have is a bad joke, 0 communication, etc, etc So I don´t support this s h i t
A store that is embarrassing, with high prices for skins from more than 4 years ago. But coincidentally it is always updated, 0 bugs…
And curiously, the more time passes, the less I want to play it. And that is a sign that the product is not good

I adressed earlier that im stuck at B5 too and now happened what i hope it did not:
I cant play with my mates anymore because they ranked up and i didnt.

I was originally placed in Bronze 3, won a series to Bronze 2, played another series and got placed Bronze 2, and now I have been crushing and after three separate series of 7 wins in DPS role I am still in Bronze 1.
I am usually one the highest damage outputs on my team. Typically, winning 7 or more out of 10 games in a series with positive KD and what not. Every time I think I’ve played better, and finish another series, I see bronze 1 again. Super frustrating.

Maybe I am in the wrong here, but I have been stuck in bronze 5 (all time season high). I never placed prior to the patch, however I got 5/7 wins before patch and placed the day after the patch.
I play tank and have played 145 games with 70 wins. Even when losing, I am carrying the team ~80-85% of the time. I feel I should at least be bronze 2 or higher.
What do y’all think?
edit for context: the last 4 placements, win:loss for placement has been 7:2

Same shii for me a consistent master and diamond player hard stuck gold one cause I can’t rank up I have won my 7 matches aleast 5 or six times now and have only lost maybe 10 times in both open que and selected que gold 1 and can’t rank up at all

Wish that blizzard would finally give a single fok about their broken game. Well if not, time to go back to Paladins then. At least no bugs like that there, cuz their devs give fok and listen to community. Blizzard big, blizzard give 0 … about normal players. Sad turth, but real.
