Competitive game

I get 3 gold medals & no POTG or even cards…does this make any sense?..

Cards are given to highest stats for both teams.

Then they should be giving medals in the same manner…

Does it even matter? You can still get POTG on the losing team, nobody cares

I do :sob:, besides it’s more accurate for the medals to given to the players with highest stats in both teams, just like the cards

No, both of those are meaningless…

Gold medals mean you had the highest stats for your team. Cards are the highest stats across both teams. You may have had the highest elims for your team, but someone on the enemy team had higher elims than you basically. Of course, POTG is calculated kinda weird anyway, but it’s believed to be mostly based on how much “on fire” meter you’re building in a 10 second time span.

Also, medals shouldn’t even be in the game. In fact, I don’t think stats should be visible until after the game is over. It just leads people to think they’re doing well when they aren’t. They use their gold elims as an excuse to say that it’s the rest of their team holding them back from the win.

True…best players total rank must be listed at the end of the game.
