Comp RQ- Wide- why are lower ranks receiving less %?

Make it make sense. If anything, this is backwards? I have a platinum three player in the Team with me -I’m a silver 3 tank (Because I Solo queue too much and that’s a death sentence to your rank)
If I do really well, better than anybody else on the team well, I get 10% if I’m lucky- the platinum ranked teammate would get 16 to 18% as a DPS with less than my damage.

Also Can we remove the FB/D ratio boost in placement?

I think one of two things could be happening, as well as the fact that you are queuing with someone that is two whole ranks above you - you get less SR for wide matches.

  1. I saw something like this way back when I placed low-Bronze. I would get low percentages for wins and losses and had to grind like heck to get up to mid-Bronze where the percentages were slowly increasing. It wasn’t until Silver before I started seeing the usual 15-20% for wins and losses. I assumed at the time that it was to “prove yourself” and you had to actually win a LOT more to get out of Bronze, showing you were truly improving and understanding and not just a fluke streak or getting boosted.
  2. What I’m starting to believe: the game may actually be measuring your skill/impact on the match. What these stats are can only be a guess - K/D for sure, potentially healing/saves/cleanses for supports, damage for dps, mitigation for tank (and I believe objective time / contesting time is factored in as well). If you, at a lower rank, had more impact on the match than those of higher rank, then you might get more. Conversely, if you didn’t have as much of an impact (based on the predetermined stats it looks at) you don’t gain as much. I’ve noticed that I typically get around 15-20% for each match, more for wins where I had a high K/D or healing uptime, less for losses with them, and lost more for losses where I was playing respawn simulator and didn’t have much of an impact on the game.

I’m personally leaning more toward the second one, because the placement matches have some form of stats based performance ratings. In the first example, I grinded to Silver 3 but dropped to Silver 5, then a rank reset happened. The rank prediction was Silver 5 but after playing one really good match, I was predicted Silver 3. Another good one, Silver 2, then a couple losses, some wins, placed Silver 1. Another match after placements and cracked Gold. Been mid-Gold since.

If the placement matches have some form of stats based SR, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that the SR gained/lost in matches has some stats tied to it as well.

No, you’re a Silver Tank because you’re simply not that good at the role, and queueing with a Plat to boost yourself is not going to work because the devs took measures to prevent that.

That’s…not a thing
