Comp mode disables my Internet

Four times today i have tried to get into comp only to have my internet shut down on me. The first time i thought it was my internet itself, after it came back up after only 2 minutes or less of down time i tried again. Of course i was banned for leaving early. after my ban was lifted i tried again. As soon as i loading in and picked my character i was booted and my internet was disconnected again.

Thinking it was my fault i waited again and played arcade mode a few times to make sure I wouldn’t drop internet again. It makes me feel bad when i get booted because i also know my team will get a lose for it. so after 3 or so arcade games i tried comp again. this time i didn’t even get a chance to pick a character and my internet was gone.

Now after getting online and trying all the different help forums i could try and needing to wait 2 hours now due to my ban i tried again 4 hours later. Again i tried all the “fixes” the forums said to do. I log in to overwatch no problem, click on comp, it says searching, game found, lost connection to server, now i have an 8 hour ban.

What can i do to fix this? Ive tried the repair tool, restarting router, computer, drop my isp and get a new one, drivers are up to date, played the day before no issues.

To clarify, is your entire internet connection shutting down? Or are you just getting disconnected while trying to play?

If it’s the second thing, please post up a WinMTR for someone to look over.
