How did it come to that conclusion? What magic did it use to work out the outcome of a game that hadnt happened yet?
There is no way for them to assume what will happen before the game has even began. Anything can happen in a match. There is no way for the game to know we are favoured to win. Its just nonsense
Just because our team has a higher average sr does not mean we are more likely to win. Chances are the difference not only is minuscule, likely <100sr, but match consistency is all over the place cus of throwers and leavers the game cannot know those numbers are even relevant
Yet itâs how matchmaking works, and your team having higher SR means, that your team has more competent players(or at least supposed to), so you are expected to win.
Just cus our teams average is 10sr higher does not mean we are more likely to win. A teammate could throw. Someone could leave. And yet we are still labelled to the game as the favoured team and will lose more for those games.
You cannot know which team is favoured and unfavoured to win. If you can then what is the point of even playing the game if the matchmaker is so sure of itself.
As a player you have no idea before or during the match if you are or are not favoured to win. Its just randomly thrown at you at the end like some kind of insult from the game.
Yes, because matchmaking doesnât account for âhuman errorâ - it just runs math. It has no way to predict events outside of game, as it has no data on it.
Pretty sure the modifiers appearing are bugged. They should appear each game.
On another note, weâve NEVER known why we go up or down. Wow! I got 28 Sr that game!.. but why?
Not rigged lmao, its how Iâve wanted it for a while. You should be an extraordinary player to climb and win. Champ players (Gm in past seasons ig) should require a 55 winrate to stay even with a 58 wr to climb any conceivable amount.
one of the reasons i dont play ranked since you worry about that little number and feel bad if it increases or decreases. plus you have no control of whats happening on that
still this is how it works for everyone so nothing is holding you back, people probably are really the rank they are⌠or maybe not lol⌠i know im average so gold or plat. if i do play comp i mean
havnt played in forever so maybe it will put me in bronze tho if i tried now heh
I have no idea what they did as I no longer play.
But Iâm sure they added this feature just for confusion.
Pretty much for the same reason they introduced terms like MMR with the use of powerful influencers.
Unless we make personal performance impact sr gains and losses there is no reason to have anything but a flat sr gain and loss
No other metrics should impact your sr if not even your own performance does.
Why does the average sr of my team that is created before the game affect my sr after the game? I have no control over that. I have no control over the people in my team. I didnt sign up for an arbitrarily âfavouredâ game. I didnt opt in to get the slightly âbetterâ team risking more sr if we lose
maybe i should sell it for a fortune then or a bottle of whiskeyâŚ
nah lol have so many skins and time on this account and its my ONLY one. if i made another i would have to work for all the heroes? i think thats how it works now⌠or pay for them??
There is no such thing as MMR, they completely invented it and claimed that there was some kind of algorithm that balances the matches according to skill.
In reality, itâs all about entertainment to keep the players interested.
They know when you are frustrated and when you need to win to be kept in the loop.
Whenever they lose, itâs always someone elseâs fault, because the game deliberately wants to conceal that.
Thatâs why most gamers these days are spoiled brats. They canât see through it and really believe that they are the best.
Just had that scenario happen to me in my last match 20 mins ago, got only 18 percent for an expected win. Literally wtf, I donât control who I play, why am I being punished for a matchmaking system that I have nothing to do with? Iâm not sure which moron at Blizzard thought this was a good idea, but itâs probably the same person who thought hitscan needed to be even easier.
