I’m not sure what you’re saying nah to, I gotta be honest. Like maybe it’s cause I’m not really awake but I’m not really sure what you’re trying to convey with your message.
If you have endorsement 5 people on your team and they are not able to ping the opponents, then you know all about these endorsement farm types.
Tbh, I hate playing with endorsement 1 & 5. With luck, the e1 people are the ones who were reset due to reports. But mostly it’s people who have just come out of quickmatch and are still practicing in comp. Just like those endorsement 5 guys who voted each other e5 in quickmatch and are just really bad.
After being away for quite awhile and improving my game immensely stat wise I was still placed 2 ranks behind my old rank and had to “work my way” back to my actual rank. It’s how the MMR system works. It’s meant to give you a sense of achievement. Nothing about it is genuine, it’s geared to get you addicted to the dopamine rush of wins. The only issue is that they don’t account for the anger that comes when you don’t get your fix, hence the inordinate number of people that tilt in this game. Mess with someone’s psyche and that’s what you get.
There’s nothing like artificial difficulty in a children’s video game to give me a sense of achievement.
somehow Pokemon Go is more fair than OW when it comes to competitive matchmaking…
(yes, Pokemon Go has a feature where you can compete against other players; forgot what’s it called)
Your MMR directly affects SR. The MMR is a hidden number that dictates what rank the game thinks you should be at. This statistic is used to place you against opponents. And, although they deny it, many people believe that it is used to match you against other people that can either beat you or will lose to you, so that it can manipulate where you are in the SR and make sure it corresponds to your MMR, in order to ensure you have the “best experience possible” while playing competitive. It’s also been posited that the MMR determines your experience, granting less if your above your MMR and more if you’re below. It is geared towards keeping you where it thinks you should be. Again, so you enjoy the game more. The issue comes from an algorithm being unable to understand the nature of emotions and how losing repeatedly to keep you around your MMR can become frustrating and soul crushing. The MMR is one of the things that has made Overwatch the most hated game in history on Steam and will continue to drive people away from the game. No one wants to play a game where they have no chance to improve, even if their skill level improves, because an algorithm has decided otherwise.
