I recall many Mercy Mains stating that her OP Valk form was a bad idea from friends and randos I played with in game, the forums, even in general chat on the PTR when it was one there.
So…no? They didn’t start caring “when their hero got nerfed” they were complaining from the start that it wasn’t a move in the right direction.
I get what you are saying… but… unless you add a minimum time Mercy has to heal the target for… you gotta know that trolls will double tap E and Res people with ~5 HP and laugh.
If you do add a minimum heal time… well that’s just a cast time and we’re back where we started.
Tapping it would only bring them back with 60 HP and she’s still free to move around as long as she’s still in range and isn’t CC’ed or killed, the Ress would go off. The difference from current Ress is that you are not standing still, asking to be headshot, but Ressing big HP+Armor characters is riskier and gives the enemy team time to kill someone else. Or you.
So… if I am wrapping my mind around this correctly… the OP is effectively complaining about people that are complaining about people complaining.
