Clash needs to be studied

I dont have any issues with the mode. its not my favourite by any means but id take clash over push any day

I feel like Clash isn’t nearly as bad as Flashpoint and Push.

Still all of these modes belong in Arcade with all the other gimmicks.

studied? developers relased 5vs5 without any test and three years later still doesnt work, is not fun, is a mess with op tanks, you think they will find a way to make clash fun? we lost 2cp for this? there was no need for 3 new modes in 3 years, they sould have focused on make more maps for the modes we already had, flashpoint is so trash in part because there are only 2 maps, and developers are so lazy and incompetent make a map for the mode with the biggest maps ever made, pfff, imagine

Clash absolutely doesn’t work in Quickplay at all. You’re lucky if you get 3 people on your team that understands that you’re not capturing/defending linear progress.

Also, few things in Overwatch make me more despondent than seeing Anubis/Hanamura and it not being the glorious original maps.

I enjoyed 6v6 Clash.

But 5v5 is a steam roll. With perks, an even faster roll

ive never liked clash

It’s the playerbase that wants to play Escort only, and that boycotts every single new game mode that needs to be seriously studied…

What also needs to be studied : a playerbase that mostly consists of OTPs and “one-trick game mode” poneys that yet roots for a ban system in Competitive, in a game based on hero counters

I really don’t hate it that much. The only part I dislike is how it effects momentum when you hit the last point and get crushed bc of spawn point distances. I feel like they could do something about that, but also if you expect it it isn’t so bad.

Frankly, the problem is that it doesn’t take any more team work than the other modes - difference is, this mode also hands out free points to the losing team with terrible point design to boot.

It’s like they saw all the problems with flashpoint and added the bad parts of assault to them. :joy:
