My teams have consistently played points as a group, held the appropriate high grounds etc, and I’ve won majority of my games on it. It still turns into a scrappy stagger fest that never ends for basically every single point. Ad tedium.
Grouping isn’t my issue and I’ve had reasonably good luck with my teams playing properly on it and have won most of my matches. Still find it by far the most miserable mode and set of maps they’ve ever released.
It’s a desperate attempt to make Push/Tug of war viable, and will always be inferior to Payload, KotH, and 2cp. It will always get stale faster than other modes.
Ironically Ive mostly lost because the team splits up after regrouping. Sometimes its a long/mid range dps who makes us enter a 5v6 on the point because they only have a tiny space to work with or its a support ( esp anas) who are too far back to get a view of the team during the push.
Randoms grouping up hasn’t been a known issue at aaaaaall, surely not why we have wave respawns…
The devs know its an issue so this is on them, the gamemode is awful
I dont mind it, yeah people need to learn to regroup and ill echo what alot of people here are saying that capture speed should be slowed down a bit, but other than that its fun.
It’s just weird getting a team wipe and having to walk backwards to cap a point. xD
The game mode isn’t super intuitive which might be a sign of bad concept.
Like why would people back up to the point and defend when they can stall choke?
Then the point behind them is the one they have to cap after they win.
A bit odd.
Anubus is probably the worst clash map. Too much highground currently and people on point just suffer. The other clash map is pretty nice.
