Sorry you’re missing the point as much as you are. “Are they balanced and playable in OWL?” is the question Blizzard has been asking for a long time now. You keep describing them balancing to make the game fair for OWL level play, which is exactly what I’m saying is terrible for the game. I’ll repeat myself. E-sports will ALWAYS fail. They will never be profitable in any meaningful way, nor draw a crowd beyond a few odd college students. Creating, designing, or balancing a game to attempt to make it successful as an e-sport will always make the game worse. Why? Again, creating a sport where a single corporation owns everything related to it will fail. Imagine how few people would play baseball if every single baseball, baseball glove, practice field, etc., had to be bought or rented from a single company. The sport would die before it got off the ground. E-sports fail for the same reason. Blizzard focusing so much on trying to make OWL successful was a big contributing factor towards the game going downhill.
