Not an unwelcome phenomenon. I’ve encountered a few happy go lucky Jrats lately. Proper etiquette is friendly emote. They might emote back and leave you alone for the rest of the match. This even works while playing widow. So it will definitely work playing a charming character like Rein. Just don’t take advantage, or the truce is off.
I like giving friendly people a smack then speeding myself off the map

I’ve had a Sombra who betrayed the truce. I kicked that kid back into his toddler years and every time I killed her, she had the guts to complain and type “???” and stuff like that. It’s what she deserved.

I should add that I was playing arcade at the time. Results may vary.
