I mean if you and your team let Mercy get off a rez undoing a team wipe that’s not on the Mercy player. I prefer Mass rez cause it just feels rewarding to me then using Valk.

Wow…like your attitude seems a bit toxic. I mean I feel that her kit is a mess because it messes with her flow and why I don’t play her all that much anymore.
I mean if I’m “entitled” for having issues with how jarring and flow breaking a character’s play is then okay??? I guess???

Another Mercy hate topic. Seriously? It’s getting old. No one liked the Mercy mains “spamming” the forum in their one mega thread, but here we are, MONTHS after the fact carrying on and on…
The most ironic part is that Mercy mains weren’t the one whining the loudest about their hero.

Not really threads that inspired this post but actually it was Overbuff so you can thank them. My last post before this one was in October and the last mercy related post was probably over a year ago. Don’t you worry about me needing to move on, I’m not the one who spammed mercy threads every single day (the individuals who did may or may not have moved on)
Yeah jeez all those scrubs that can’t stop this tiny little hitbox hero from flying in and pressing 1 button with an instant cast. What scrubs!

Right. So instead of nerfing Mass Rez to discourage hide-and-seek gameplay while compensating by giving her an E ability so she feels like an actual hero with strengths and weaknesses, they went ahead and completely reworked her because… reasons?

Wow and they killed mercy first only for her to come back at the last possible second and 5 man Rez, what a bunch of bots. They should’ve known you never kill mercy first or last geez

Why would they care? They literally have Mass Rez at their finger tips. They can create custom QP game lobbies with Mass Rez and play with it. Same with a new ultimate. People will join. The basis of “Its just the forums complaining” is a lie because it’s different social media outlets complaining about Mercy. Not just the forums.

Brilliant idea, OP. I’ve been playing a lot of Hammy and Symm lately and loving it.
But people are allowed to express their dissatisfaction on a public forum if they want.
You have 29 other heroes you can enjoy when you don’t like Mercy.
Simple as that.

And I do??? I’m a Lucio/Junk player mainly. I’m just stating my issues when I play Mercy about how her flow is wonky and jarring.
She’s not the only one with jarring abilities that ruin her flow of play either.
But ok I’m entitled because I find it jarring to suddenly slow down to use an ability that is inconsistent due to the animation not matching to the time it takes (and Rez roulette still being a thing). I’m entitled because I find Valk disengaging because it it take away my need to chain juggle which in turn breaks the rhythm of her play to me.
(I mean wow…you’re almost AR levels of toxic here with assumptions)

Why should someone have to stop playing a hero, when there’s really only two other main healers which are more engaging and potentially impactful in comparison generally? I’m not including Baptiste and as I don’t honestly know where the hero stands. Also one of the biggest reasons for her rework was because she was unfun to play against, so don’t tell unsatisfied Mercy players to suck it up now that they don’t find her particularly fun to play as.
This thread really contributes nothing to help improve the game for many on any side, doesn’t contribute anything for the OW team either. You, and I, don’t have any proof on how many don’t like or do like current Mercy. This is also a forum, a place for discussion, whether officially the feedback is being read and/or considered or not. It’s not for you or anyone unofficial to decide whether ongoing Mercy discussions can’t take place here.

It was one of the biggest reasons, but not the sole reason. However, I realise you are against changes to Mercy from what I’ve observed so naturally you would say this I imagine

I main her of course I would love buffs
I just don’t think she needs them
I’m not inherently against changes none of them just felt warranted
